After much anticipation, planning, and hard work, Uncle T’s Oyster Bar is proud to announce that we are now open and ready to serve you and your family. Located along the train tracks in the art district of Scott, we have done extensive renovations to the old Cue Time Bar building to bring something special to the Scott community. Original masonry from the 1950s and reclaimed wood from a nearby 100-year-old barn has been showcased to give this updated restaurant a classic and rustic look and feel, and even helps divide the family restaurant from the bar area.The bar itself is truly a sight to behold. With a 26 feet, custom-built bar surrounded by TVs, Uncle T’s is sure to become your favorite spot for game night too.

The prompt attention and hospitality coming in right through the door was pleasant. I ordered charbroiled oysters sampler, which includes 4 different tasty choices. The oysters were delicious. I also tried the taco trio with 3 different proteins grilled. The tacos were a decent size and full of flavor. The grilled gator was best in my opinion. Autumn was my waitress and she was great. Very helpful and attentive. The atmosphere is perfect for groups of friends or coworkers to hangout. This place has Full bar and a nice variety of choices on their menu. Next time I’m back in town, this will be the first place I’d visit.

The Landry po’boy was stacked and satisfying, with fresh ingredients and a perfect bite every time. The alligator bites were tender, well-seasoned, and fried just right—not greasy at all. The fish plate was cooked to perfection, flaky and flavorful, with sides that actually felt thought-out instead of an afterthought.
But the real standout? The firecracker oysters. Unique, bold, and addictive—sweet heat with just the right kick. That’s the kind of dish you come back for and tell people about.
To top it off, T’s Tea with the rice vodka was both strong and refreshing—the kind of drink that sneaks up on you in the best way and pairs perfectly with the food.

Four of us came for dinner around 6ish and waited about 45 mins on a Friday night for dinner. Had beers on the patio while we waited. If you come hungry you’ve come to the right place. Portions are HUGE! We had a shrimp wrap, boiled shrimp and the boudin balls. All were tasty and filled our tired bellies. Our waitress Amy was so sweet. The fish bites are a MUST!

Went to this place many times when they opened, but moved away, so it’s been a few years since, and just had the pleasure to revisit, and happy to see that they grew so much. Can’t go wrong here, there may be a wait now, but you won’t regret it. The food is large portions, and everything tastes delicious. The staff is fantastic as well. Seriously, keep it up guys, better start looking for a location to build a second restaurant!

First time in Louisiana and we had to try Uncle T’s Oyster Bar. It definitely did not disappoint. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Our server was Chandler and she was literally the nicest and most attentive server I ever had. I definitely recommend this place. The crawfish boil was delicious and so so savory along with everything else we ordered.
