The place is tucked into a small venue corner, and not a very noticeable location. Each time Ive been there the gallery has been empty, which makes you wonder how it stays open. But the food is very good. It’s crazy how it can be so slow and have really good food. Only downside, no drink options. The lukewarm tap water is the only bad thing about the place. Highly recommend!

My husband & I ordered to go here because we were both craving Chinese food while driving back home to WA. It said Uncle Sun was 16 min away from the hwy. Ate our food in the RV. Ordered – appeitzers: pork buns & cold black fungus salad (both pictured), rice bowls: orange chicken & general tso’s (ate them before photos taken). Everything was so fresh and flavorful! We were impressed with the black fungus salad because we both love wood ear mushrooms & thought the Szechuan spice was not overpowering (I think that’s what’s seasoned in it – taste like it). Typically I cannot handle Szechuan when I eat Hotpot, but this has the right amount in the salad. If we ever drive through Corvallis again, would stop for another meal! 10/10 recommend!

Keep in mind that I got takeout so I didn’t get the full tour so to speak, but the food was excellent and the clerk was great .

To go deeper into the food, I got bao buns, egg drop soup, and sezchuan chicken. The food was all very flavorful, the soup was light but nice and savory, the chicken had the smallest bit of spice to keep it interesting, and also a depth to it, and my bao were nicely put together and meaty.

My one issue was the bao had a little too thick of dough, one had about 3/4 if an inch of dough before I reached the filling.

Nice experience overall, also the ramen(which my fiancee bought) had a very rich broth, but I’m no expert and only had a sip or two.

Uncle suns has been my go to spot since I started collage almost 2 years ago now I have been multiple times bringing new people every time to share the amazing food. The orange chicken and rice is fantastic and I’ve been told that the other menu options are just as good. The people there are very kind and sweet and always super quick! If your ever craving some Chinese food and are in the area you gotta give Uncle Suns a chance

I’m a regular at Uncle Sun. I absolutely love it there! The food is ALWAYS delicious and the people there are so sweet and lovely.

My favorite feature is their ability to make most anything on the menu non-spicy. I love spicy pepper chicken non-spicy. It’s a crispy, crunchy dark meat chicken and it’s phenomenal.

My favorite place!! I attached a ton of photos from my many, many trips there!

Really enjoyed eating here. The waiter was really a huge help. Got to meet the cooks and everyone was really nice. I had the ramen with the fatty steak and potstickers both cooked perfectly.

I like the selections and the price range. They have a nice variety offering some dim sum, noodles dishes, hot pot and the standard Chinese selections. I tried the spring rolls, pot stickers, crab puffs, char siew buns and the Mongolian beef with white rice. All dishes were good. I would definitely come back to try more.

Everything you’d want from a Mom and Pop Chinese restaurant. It has all the classic American-style Chinese dishes you’d expect like orange chicken and fried rice, as well more traditional dishes. Staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable for the portion size. Dine in or order it to go. Plenty of delicious vegetarian/vegan options too!

Delicious!! Just left having dinner — ordered five things: garlic cucumber, curry beef steamed buns, house special fried noodle, general tsos chicken, and the chicken cartilage dry pot, all for ~$65. Everything was delicious, fresh, and so fragrant! Could smell it cooking, way before it came out, and it came out quickly, and steaming hot. Staff was very friendly, and the inside got a nice face lift, too.

We’ll definitely be back, lots of times.

The buns are huge and sooo tasty! I seriously recommend getting them fried. I’ve only ever eaten steamed pork buns, but the owner made me an order of lightly fried buns and I loved it. He even threw in a soup for free! Good food and good people. Love and peace.
