You are welcomed like family. Susan is incredible. It’s got a fab atmosphere, the staff couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food is superb. The decor is authentic American diner. We’ve been going for 45 years, tried other places but nothing beats this. Perfect for every occasion, been on date night, with the family & with friends. Always have a great time & love every single bite!

Visited on Valentine’s Day for the second time. Absolutely amazing restaurant, decent price, amazing service, brilliant food and lovely atmosphere. Got the burrito which was amazing and they were very accommodating with removing ingredients also had the onion rings on the side and got loads for £4!!! Absolutely will come again ❤️

This was my favorite place as a child, and the train is still running around the roof. Such a brilliant place real Sheffield heritage, same site for 55 years. My only minor grumble is they have taken away the knickerbockerglory but do not fear still too many amazing desserts to pick from. The waitresses was amazing with the little one at our table, service was fast and we wanted for nothing. Thank you for still standing up to the beautiful memories I had as a kid.

Portion size was good and pricing fair. Diner style food, kids loved their first coke float. Excellent customer service, nothing was too much to ask for. We brought a cake as it was my son’s birthday dinner and they brought it out candled. Buzzy atmosphere and busy for a Monday. Great for families with you children.

Excellence isn’t a term I use flippantly, however, I feel the meal and service alongside a family friendly atmosphere the term is totally justified. The sharing nachos to start were crisp, fresh and accompanied by chilli, guacamole, salsa and cheese. The Ribs were perfectly cooked and fell off the bone tasting fantastic! The combination platter of chicken and ribs with sides of fries and sauces was perfectly cooked and our daughter informed me it tasted great. Our other meals were both burgers again both were excellent quality.
The service was excellent and we felt very welcome, nothing was to much trouble providing colouring options for our children for entertainment.
In my opinion the prices are great value for a restaurant and a great experience! Thank you and we look forward to seeing you next time at Uncle Sam’s

A true Sheffield tradition. The food is great and the service is exceptional. A breath of fresh air from with hipster burger places or big chains. Brought our kids for the first time tonight and will carry on visiting for many years
