I’m from NYC & as a Northerner this spot is legit! The owners were on site & were friendly, helpful & professional. I ordered a honey garlic beef cheesesteak with mushrooms, onions & green peppers. Hubby had the honey garlic chicken cheesesteak with green peppers, banana peppers, onions & mushrooms. The bread was nice & soft and the sandwich was extremely well seasoned, very tasty & not salty. Staff was awesome & after giving our honest feedback about the food the owner shouted “we got a new niece & nephew yall!” & someone else shouted in response “welcome to the family!” All of that was a very cute touch. We’ll be back for the delicious food & awesome service!

I seen a reel on Facebook of Uncle Phill’s, so when we got to The A, we had to visit and the food did not disappoint!! Everything was so good! I got the Honey Garlic Chicken Cheesesteak and the Honey Garlic cheese fries, so so good!! I also got the chicken egg rolls and those were good as well! I willl definitely be back when I’m back in town!

The atmosphere was excellent, very welcoming walk in even while training new employees. Good conversation and even better food. The cheesesteak…… I mean if you have been do I even need to say more?! I ordered the #4 honey garlic cheesesteak. It is exactly how it sounds with exploding flavor from the steak to the garlic to the honey. Awesome job here. If you haven’t had a chance to try uncle Phil’s you better get over here and check it out!

First time visit today in the misty rain, not sure what to expect.
Omg! Had the jerk chicken philly. When I grabbed the to-go bag, it was heavy like something was in it! And 45 mins later, I tore into the most delicious jerk chicken philly, I have ever had! Only wished they had another cheese option and something other than mayo for the bread but listen, it works!
Young lady at the front counter was polite and had no attitude, that was good to see as well. I will be back for sure!

I came in expecting a good cheesesteak but left disappointed and disgusted. The cheesesteak had huge chunks of meat, lacked flavor, and was poorly made. Customer service was terrible from the start.
Most concerning: I witnessed a worker handling chicken and steak and not changing gloves after touching trash cans and spraying cleaner. That level of unsafe food handling is unacceptable. I won’t be returning.

Nice and clean. The young lady working the front that day was very PLEASANT and productive. She was taking orders, bagging, dropping fries, attending the dining area making sure the tables were clean. The cooking area was very tidy. The cook was making sure everything was wiped down and cleaned after each couple of orders. I had about 15 min wait and observed nothing but order and professionalism. My sandwich was AWESOME!! The best I have had in a VERY LONG TIME! The right amount of meat, cheese, seasoning and the RIGHT bread, for a perfect Cheesesteak!!! I WILL BE BACK

Got the beef cheesesteak with hot peppers, mushrooms, green peppers and garlic mayo. It was so good. We drove a ways to try it and it didnt disappoint. Fries were tasty and fresh. Sandwich was hot and fresh. It was perfect. Exactly what i wanted today. Marcus was great. Super friendly and polite and took his time explaining the ordering. Great food great service. Next time im in east atlanta ill swing back through.

The cheesesteaks are my favorite in the city! But today, I tried the new Italian hoagie, wow! This might be my favorite thing on the menu. The meat is high quality!
Above everything, the staff is so nice. They greet everyone that walks through the door even when it is busy. I love following this business’s success from beginning, then ghost kitchen, now to the store front. They are the real deal.

Good Afternoon,
I drove all the way from Suwannee GA to get an Uncles Phil’s Cheesesteak Sub and it was TERRIBLE!! I traveled twice to this location 1162 Moreland Avenue Atlanta GA and the food was top notch. I ordered a 10inch cheese steak with extra mayo, onions, jalapeños, green peppers, mushrooms and extra cheese. Cost me over $19. I get the sub and the bread to meat ration was 75%-25%. There is clearly no extra cheese and many of the ingredients I ordered seemed to be missing from the sub. It was the driest cheese steak I have ever ordered and I am accustomed to your cheese steaks being full of flavor and juicy. I am very disappointed as I have talked this place up to so many people. Not sure what has happened to the quality of the food but I will not travel back again. The experience here seems to be hit or miss as the quality of food seems to have taken a turn for the worse.
