Love this place. One of the best pizzas in Chicagoland and always reliably good. Love their extra thin or double dough. Real ingredients (not canned) and notably fresh sausage. The owner Jay also was also very accommodating and generous for our special occasion this past summer. My favorite pizza around.

Ordered a pan pizza, got a deep dish. Ordered extra sauce, got a ton extra, way too much. Asked for it to be pulled early and do not overcook, was overdone and bottom and crust was hard as a rock. Couldn’t eat it so it got tossed. Sad because this was not the first time but it’s now the last that we try to get a decent pizza here.

I ordered from work so that I could pickup on my way home. I entered that I had a coupon on my order. I left the menu at work with the coupon as it’s a work menu. The clerk would not honor the coupon because I did not have it in hand. I told her I obviously know of the coupon im not using this one that’s sitting here on the counter (they give you one with the pizza). She refused to give me the discount which left a complete bad taste in my mouth for the pizza.

We were visiting the town for an event and stopped by because I noticed this hole on the wall type of place when I drove by last time I was in town and thought it must be amazing to be able to survive for this long. This quaint place looked very interesting with a bunch of b/w photos of Einstein next to young Jack Nicholson and other celebrities. Unfortunately, the overpriced pizza tastes ok but it’s not what we had hoped for.

Uncle Pete’s has one of the most delicious pizza I’ve had. They are generous with their toppings and sauce. We ordered online for pickup and they had it ready right when we walked in at the estimated time they gave us. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will be coming back for more pizza!

Pizza is just ok. I don’t like to rip on local businesses but the bacon had a funny plastic like taste and smell.I pulled as much of the bacon off the pizza as possible. My wife said Walmarts market fresh pizzas are better. I really had high hopes for this place but I won’t be coming back. Maybe keep it to simple ingredients if you order from here. Sorry uncle Pete’s it just wasn’t enjoyable

The order, the email, and the ticket on the delivered pizza clearly showed:

1 x Double Dough – Large 16″ $32.70
Crust Thin
Sauce Pizza Sauce
Cheese Topping (16″ pizza) Mozzarella
Meat Toppings (16″ pizza) Sausage (+$3.00)
Additional 1/2 Topping (Left Side) (16″ pizza) Pepperoni (+$1.50)
Additional 1/2 Topping (Left Side) (16″ pizza) Fresh Mushrooms (+$1.50)
Sub-Total:
Delivery Fee:
Total: $46.40
$4.00
$50.40

but the pepperoni was on one side and the mushrooms on the other side. Unfortunately that made it completely useless to us.

Went on the local’s suggestions. Maybe it’s just my taste, but the food was terrible. Not because of human error, just execution. Delivery service was prompt and friendly! A bla pizza that will go in the trash when I’m done with my hotel stay. Wish I had followed my gut instead.

Uncle Pete’s Pizza absolutely blew me away! The pizza was beyond delicious—every bite was packed with flavor. The sauce was truly next-level: rich, perfectly seasoned, and had just the right balance of sweetness and tang. You can tell they put a lot of love into their recipe. The crust was golden and crispy on the outside, yet soft and chewy inside—just the way I like it. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the atmosphere, but Uncle Pete’s really delivered. I can’t wait to go back!

Uncle Pete’s, the best (thin crust) pizza in town.

We’ve been getting uncle Pete’s for as long as I can remember, and I have fond memories of Dad walking in with the huge brown boxes with images of Italy on the top, a pastiche of Italy, if you will, in the same way that the pizza is a Chicago pastiche of a real Italian pizza. We got the same thing every time, an extra large western and an extra large pepperoni with onions. And I remember how excited I would get that we would have pizza and leftovers for days to come.

Most recently, we ordered the same thing, me and my brother were both back in Naperville for Christmas, and after weeks of discussion we had decided that at some point on our visit we HAD to order uncle Pete’s. Except as the adult sons me and my brother had accepted the Herculean task of picking up the pizzas. The pizzas were not ready when we arrived, so me and my brother mired at the many photos of movie stars of times past pasted up on the wall, commenting on the similarities and differences they shared with us today. The movie stars is a funny touch, as they are arranged as a restaurant would put up autographed photos, but none of them are signed, and all of them are too high level of stars to have ever visited Naperville. During our wait the manager Jenny settled a debate on who Clint Eastwood was, starting a trend for her help-fullness to come.

I hate to say it, but we waited a very long time. There was some issue with the toppings, and we waited in uncle Pete’s for around 40 minutes, or 30 minutes after our original pickup time. When we finally got the pizzas I couldn’t help but have a slice in the car and it instantly launched me back to a simpler time, one where Dad might let you have a slice of his western pizza, but really we knew the pepperoni was the kids one.

To our dismay, when we opened the pizza at home we found them to be over cooked, and the toppings spread unevenly. In an uncharacteristic fashion Uncle Pete had rushed our order. We looked at eachother as a family in grimaced glances. Weeks of anticipation had culminated in this disappointing moment? We had to do what no one wants to do, we had to call, a daunting task always reserved for my mother.

Following the call with Jenny uncle Pete’s made one of the most impressive “make goods” I have ever seen. Jenny personally delivered 2 replacement pizzas that were, as I’ve reviewed, absolutely deserving of a 5 star. I’m impressed by uncle Pete’s customer service and I will always order from them when I am hankering for a thin crust pizza.
