Heard they had gluten free pasties. As a michigander I figured it a necessity to try a pastie. But as someone who is allergic to wheat it took me a while to try one. They stock beef, venison, elk and lamb in gluten free. The people there are super friendly and kind. I’m not celiac, I’m allergic to wheat so I’m not as sensitive to cross contamination. I came in for lunch and they only stock the gluten free pasties frozen(not as common of a sell). However seeing as though I’m not as sensitive to cross contamination they kindly heated a frozen one up for me. I can’t speak on their behalf for them making a habit of that but its an example of their kindness. Will definitely be back! Thanks again!!

Best I’ve had here in the southern part of the state. It has been a while since I’ve been up north and had a good pastie. I’ve been past this place several times and decided to give them a try. My sweetheart got the Corned-beef while I had the Venison (yes, they have Venison). The pouch was packed full and delicious. They were so good that I bought some to take home. I will definitely be back to get more.

Wonderful food, and outstanding service. Came in for lunch, tried the corned beef, and spinach pasties, along with one of their choices of gravies, their potato salad was also good. Would definitely recommend. Employee was very nice.

The service was good. The pastie was far too dry for me. It was mostly ground beef and potatoes with small shards of carrots. It was nothing like the ones that I had when I was young. I bought three beef pasties and was disappointed. I didn’t try any of their other types.

I have been driving past Uncle Peter’s Pasties for years and today was the day to stop and pick up dinner. This by far was the most Amazing beef pastie I have ever had south of the bridge. Jamie was delightful and added to the overall experience.

Uncle Peter’s makes excellent pasties, I have never been disappointed with an order. It’s a simple place making a few things really well. On Fridays and on Saturdays the apple pasties are very good if you can save room for it.
The people working here are friendly and rightfully proud of the food they are making. Don’t forget the gravy!

Absolute worst pasties I’ve ever eaten! Tossed out 2 of the 5 I bought. Way too expensive as well. If they were good, 9.00 + dollars each would be acceptable, however these were not. Will never return nor promote them. There’s a place in Troy on Square Lake road that has incredibly good pasties. My experience with pasties you may wonder….15 years living in the U.P.

Our first visit and will definitely return! Friendly staff explained all the fillings and how to prepare the take home ones. Gave us cookie samples too! We bought several different varieties and can’t wait to try them all. So far they have all been delicious…much better than the one’s up north, in my opinion, and their crust is really good.
