We went here for the barbque trail. The first place we went was actually closed, so this place was closest to the hotel we were staying at. Honestly, it was fine. I wouldn’t phone home about it. The barbeque sauce wasn’t my favorite. My kid didnt like anything on his plate, but the things he likes is hit or miss anyway. The place looked really cute though.

Came in for dinner and was served quickly. The brisket was delicious, but the sausage was a little dry which was disappointing. For a BBQ location, I do wish they had more bbq options, or the sauce on the tables to let patrons enjoy at their leisure. They did cook up some fresh okra though when I asked if they had any left, which was awesome an a testament to this place!

Uncle Mutt’s BBQ Co in Victoria, TX delivers a solid Texas BBQ experience that earns a well-deserved 4 stars. I had the chopped brisket and sausage plate with green beans and black eyed peas, and everything hit the mark. The brisket was tender and smoky with a nice bark, while the sausage had a good snap and flavor. Both sides tasted homemade—especially the black eyed peas, which were hearty and well-seasoned. Service was friendly and fast, and the casual, laid-back vibe made it a great stop for a no-fuss meal. Would definitely come back for another plate.

First time here, love it! Five star! Men and women’s bathroom. When you walk in, head towards the stack of trays and the case of food to order. Friendly staff. Delicious chopped sandwich with onion and pickle, ate every bite. Nice seating area with paper towel rolls and salt pepper shakers at the tables. Looking forward to being back!

Fantastic little BBQ joint. The food was all perfect. The brisket not too dry and seasoned well. The chopped beef was great, as was the sausage. Couldn’t tell you about the ribs, as my wife and son refused to share because they loved them so much! The sides were all good. The atmosphere was really charming too. Fair price for this quality of BBQ. Almost stopped by on our way out of town to pick some more up to take home, and found out I have several coworkers who do just that every time they’re in Victoria. 10/10 would recommend this as your weekend lunch stop!

I had my dinner at this place when I had to make my delivery at Walgreens that’s across the street. I was greeted professionally with respect. They asked me where I’m from because they heard foreign accent, and I said that I’m from Poland. They told me that they never had any one from Poland before at their restaurant. They really serve good local food. I strongly recommend this place and if you tell them that you came from different country they’ll give you little extra food at no extra cost.

Very good BBQ! The brisket, bake potatoes, the ribs…all is just delicious! Very casual place. When dining in it’s a cafeteria style serving, pick and choose what you want, pay then get your drink and fixings! Staff always very friendly. My family go all the time we need a BBQ fix!

We’ve driven past Uncle Mutt’s Barbecue in Victoria hundreds of times and never thought to stop in. Recently, a friend recommended it to us, so we decided to give it a try—and we are so glad we did!
The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food? Absolutely amazing. I had the barbecue chicken, which was perfectly moist—not a bit dry—and the mashed potatoes were to die for. My husband went for the brisket plate, and he was just delighted. The brisket was moist, flavorful, and not dried out—a rarity when it comes to barbecue!
The portions were generous, and the prices were competitive—definitely good value for the quality. There’s plenty of table seating, and they also have a drive-thru if you’re in a hurry. Best of all, it’s a family-owned and operated business, which makes supporting them feel even better.

Ordered the Uncle Mutt’s Plate (3 meat) with fried okra & cole slaw and a side of fried sweet corn. The lean brisket was not dry nor to greasy, the ribs slipped of the bone like a hot knife through butter & the sausage was tasty as well. The fried okra was great as was the cole slaw. The Fried Sweet Corn was spot one of the best I have ever had. Worth the trip & definitely worth the price. This plate will serve two people easily Will promote it & will definitely return.
