This place was amazing! My son and I were seated immediately and drinks came out shortly after. Our food was fresh, hot and came out fast. Becky was the sweetest lady, so very attentive. The portions are more than generous. I promise you will not leave here hungry! The pictures don’t do it justice so don’t hesitate and give this place a shot.

This was our first time here. I gotta say, all the 5 star reviews are spot on! Wait staff was very polite and attentive. We had Breakfast. Food came VERY FAST and was Hot, Fresh, and Delicious! Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice sit down meal. 10/10

This diner is located on main st in downtown Sturgis. Honestly if you didn’t know it was there you would drive by and miss out on down home cooking. When you walk into uncle Louie’s it’s like walking into your own kitchen. Now you’re met at the door by one of the wait staff to give you one of the best seats in the house, menu’s in hand ready to take your drink order. They give you a few minutes to look over the menu. And it doesn’t matter if you order one of the breakfast skillets, breakfast burritos, large pancakes to their Philly’s the size of the Minnesota Vikings dream to win a super bowl. You will not leave hungry or unsatisfied with the food, service and best of prices. Now let me tell you about those. The diner is open year round and they will not raise their prices during the infamous rally plus they still have a full menu. Honestly you may come in a stranger but you will leave a friend.

I’ve stopped in here on 2 different occasions while passing through Sturgis South Dakota both times not during bike week and I must say the food is delicious, the service if fast, and the atmosphere is good. They make sure you’re good throughout your meal without making you feel pressured or rushed.

Great food , it can get busy ,they serve breakfast all day. The breakfast skillet could have fed 2 people . Steak, country style potatoes and 2 eggs over easy. And English muffin.

My husband and I visited Uncle Louie’s Diner with the recommendation of an “ok” place to eat. The atmosphere was fine. The place was clean and somewhat quiet. The service from Becky was good. My only issue with her was we requested salsa and gravy for our meal due to it was necessary for the flavor and extra gravy because it didn’t have enough with the meal we were not informed that we would be charged extra for the salsa and gravy. We should have the option to pay or not pay. When I mentioned this to Becky she responded with a quick sorry as she turned around and never came back. As for the rest of our meal, the biscuits tasted like they were microwaved to be warmed up, the hash browns were under cooked and the eggs were over cooked.
