Small strip center restaurant. Seems to be popular with locals. Food was ok. Not the same quality as Nick’s on Pima.
Service was very slow. The place could use a refresh. Kinda dated. We liked our food. But both noted everything was a little on the bland side.

Very pedestrian. We had dinner here and were not impressed. The restaurant is modern and comfortable and the service impeccable, but the food very pedestrian at best. Maya, our server, was friendly, helpful, and attentive, so nothing to reproach here. We ordered a caprese, and two pasta dishes, and I have the say that the highlight of the food was the bread basket. The warm and crackling bread was delicious, but the pasta dishes were very forgettable and the salad was cold and flavorless. We can’t say we will return.

Ive been in cave creek 4 years and have never been here until tonight and wow. Lasagne was unreal. Sausage was so good. The white pizza with roasted garlic was the best! Everything was amazing including our waiter. He was older with a pony tail and was so amazing!!! Perfect night!

I ordered the half chicken with vegetables and cucumber salad ($31). Unfortunately, the chicken was rubbery and still bloody inside. It was completely inedible. I informed the waitress, but she did not ask if I would like a replacement or offer any solution.
The service was inattentive throughout the meal. We had to ask for bread after waiting about 15 minutes, and when it arrived, there was no butter. We then had to request butter separately.
Since I could not eat the chicken, I only ate the vegetables. The original bill came at full price. After speaking with the manager, he adjusted it to $18. However, considering that a side order of vegetables is listed at $8, the pricing adjustment did not feel reasonable given that the main dish was not edible.
Staff interaction overall felt somewhat rude. We were never asked about dessert, and my friend’s meal was also disappointing.

Such a wonderful family owned restaurant. Hannah was our server and she was amazing. She was knowledgeable and super personable.
Now the food. The veal parmigiana was on point. The calamari was large, juicy, and tasty. The meatballs was delicious.
You have to try the light fluffy cheesecake. It is not dense at all and has a cream cheese flavor that is light and airy.
We wanted to find a family Italian restaurant that felt comfy and was welcoming. We found it.
Highly recommend. Come for the food stay for the family feel.

Would happily eat at Uncle Louie’s every night if we could. The menu is diverse and everything is fabulous. Specials are called that because they are truly Special!!! Management and wait staff make us feel like members of the family ~ it is our top recommendation for great Italian food!

This is some of the best food available in North Scottsdale, run by some very nice people! The food and pizza are exceptional, and are delivered to your table by some really exceptional servers. The drinks are good too! Don’t forget to try the desserts!

Jared is the best! I have such a fabulous night sitting at the bar eating their oysters that I had decided to bring my husband and my daughter back to enjoy the oysters and their pizza and both were delicious. It’s a great local restaurant that was very good and I love both of the bartenders and the hostesses.
