I visited this place for the first time on a Saturday after seeing it listed on Resy for my American Express credit. Once we were seated, it took about 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. When someone finally did, he was very apologetic and welcoming. Our server, Luis, was great—he took the time to walk us through the menu and checked on us throughout the meal. Excellent customer service on his part.
I ordered the Carne Asada, a marinated 21-day aged outside skirt steak, but unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the flavor. It tasted pretty bland to me, and the side dish wasn’t what I expected. I was anticipating jasmine rice, but it tasted more like quinoa.
Overall, the food just wasn’t my thing, so I don’t see myself returning. That said, Luis provided great service and deserves recognition.

This is literally the previous restaurant BUT WITH A NAME CHANGE. Food didnt get any better really. The mini chimis app were warn boarding on cool. The bacon wrapped shrimp dinner was ok plain and kinda blah. The salsa was horrible. I ordered a dozen tamales to go which is a simple ask but they gave me a 2 tamale meal because my sever asked someone else and they said just give me that. Really incompetent…. Get your act together or the next restaurant will take over your spot

Guacamole here is freshly made in front of us, while a person getting the whole station to your table. It doesn’t taste that good, despite of all that showoff.
But we ordered Crab and Shrimp Enchiladas, Chicken bowl and Veggies Quesadilla, they tasted really good, loved them. There aren’t much vegetarian options here, but if you want authentic Mexican dishes this is for you.

Very disappointed with my experience at Uncle Julio’s. From the moment we sat down, our waitress made us feel rushed and like we were an inconvenience, even though the restaurant was not busy. At the same time, everything took forever to come out.
My friend’s cucumber drink and my Hugo Spritz were good, but the nachos were extremely bland. I later ordered the cucumber drink as well, and it took so long that I forgot I had even ordered it. When it finally arrived, the cucumber garnish was visibly moldy with black spots. I pointed it out to the server, and instead of immediately apologizing, she grabbed the garnish as if she was about to remove it and still serve the drink. That was honestly disgusting. I almost drank something with mold in it.
She asked if I wanted it remade or comped. Of course I was not paying for a moldy drink. Very weird question.
To top it off, we had already ordered dessert, yet she brought us the bill before bringing it out. She never introduced herself, disappeared at the end, and we had to ask another server to cancel the dessert because we were over the experience.
We paid and left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.

When I entered it was a small spot of water that grew it ran from the door to across the room to my feet where I was sitting and had ordered our dinner. As the water kept spreading they were moving tables and chairs everywhere I asked the waiter can we move . I had to eat around chaos the towels on the floor , chairs and the mop didn’t work they brought in a big wetvac to clean up the water . I was so disappointed because a manager never came to apologize for the noise , disruption of our dinner , moving tables and all of the chaos but she did apologize to a couple but not us . John our waiter was trying hard to make things better you were great.

I recently went to Uncle Julio’s, and I didn’t have to wait, which was great because I was with my baby. Milagros served us, explained the menu very well, and was very friendly from the start. She definitely recommended some great dishes and drinks. My husband ordered steak fajitas and a margarita, and I had fish tacos and a very refreshing strawberry drink! The music was also perfect and at a good volume. We definitely had a great night. Milagros was so pleasant and had a great attitude at all times. Thanks, Milagros!

Nelson is a great server. Super attentive, friendly, and always making sure everything at the table is taken care of. He has a great attitude and makes you feel comfortable right away.
The service was smooth, everything came out correctly, and he was always available when we needed something without being intrusive. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving a good experience.
I’d definitely ask for Nelson again. Excellent service.

I’ll start by saying I’m not usually a fan of Mexican food, but we received a gift card for Christmas and decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad we did. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the ambiance. From the moment we arrived, the hostess went out of her way to accommodate our seating request, which set the tone for a great experience.
The food was good, but what truly made the night memorable was our waiter, Louis. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating. He even took a picture of us and always responded with “my pleasure” whenever we thanked him. His service was exceptional, our drinks and glasses were never empty, and he made us feel genuinely cared for. You definitely want to keep him around. I would absolutely go back just to feel treated like a queen again.

The good news: friendly staff, our waiter was super nice. It’s not a huge menu but that’s a plus for fresh food. Better to focus on a smaller selection of fresh dishes than a huge list of subpar. Service wasn’t super fast, but it was the weekend before Christmas and the place was busy. The chips and salsa were fresh, and our entrees were tasty but may have been delayed coming out of the kitchen. Still yummy.
We did order a mixed drink that, unlike the menu description, tasted like window cleaner. I mean, I haven’t actually taken a drink of window cleaner, but it was pretty consistent with what I’d imagine window cleaner tastes like. Asked for something else, which was pretty good. But they charged for the bad drink. We paid, but the experience left a bad taste. Figuratively and literally. The food was pretty good, but the overall experience tipped us toward not returning.
FUN FACT: The guy busing tables was on point, hardest working person there. We saw him make trip after trip, absolutely focused and busy. Give that guy a raise!
