I have to say if you want a “hidden Gem” to eat fish on Friday’s for Lent, you have to make Uncle John’s Bar & Grill and every Friday event! we are! The Atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a local hidden gem in the woods. perfect size to say hello to everyone that comes in and goodbye to everyone that has filled up on “great fish and salad bar”
Please be sure to ask for Kenza for your waitress, she is professional, kind and caring to all her patrons! By far the best service my family has had in a very long time. if you are having a drink as you wait, please ask that Angie mixes your spirits you will not be disappointed. This place gets 5 stars from my family and I, and we will be making this a Friday “Lent” destination for a long time. I want to say thank you to Angie and Kenza for making my family feel at home and welcomed!

The service was great. Always wanted to try it. Food was typical bar food except everything’s a la carte, which we weren’t told. It’s not worth the drive. For that price, I can get better food for my buck in Rochester. $25 a person in a small bar is way too much.

Went to have the fish fry and it was worth going. The fish was flaky and the portions were huge. Tasted amazing. My fiancee had the broiled fish… not all you can eat and a dollar more but the portion was great too. The staff was super friendly as well.
