Uncle Joe’s Pizza on N. Genesee St. is one of those rare places that instantly feels like home. Such a great little place! Decor is retro NY pizzeria style. Staff are super friendly and we had very quick service. We ordered the 10″ pizza. I’m not usually a thick crust person, but the dough was super light and airy. Excellent pizza!

We love Uncle Joe’s. But, this time our order came cold and dry… It felt like it took forever for our food to be delivered. It was a little over an hour, as usual, no complaints, but the food being dry is new; it definitely has been sitting around for a bit. A little disappointed!

Uncle Joe’s is a combination sit down restaurant and pizza takeout joint. You enter on the pizzeria side (which appeared quite busy judging by the activity in the kitchen) and wait to be seated on the restaurant side. That was our only complaint, and a minor one at that. We waited what seemed like a long time to be seated, even though were open tables and booths. Other than that, everything was great. The food was delicious and our server was terrific. They have a large menu, with a full page of lunch specials.

My girlfriend has wanted to come here for quite some time so I decided to try it out. It was a nice change from the same pizza we usually have. This was a unique experience for us that started with complimentary Italian bread, which was delicious! The butter was cold and so I ended using the spread, even though I know it would have tasted better with real butter. We got a side of sauce to enjoy the crust after eating the main part of the pizza. While we enjoyed the pizza, there is one request…more toppings! The pizza we got was sparse on pepperoni and sausage (see photo). The third photo is the one we saw in someone else’s review and made us want to order that exact pizza. Ours had much less toppings. I’m hoping next time to get one closer to that pizza. If so we’ll go 5 stars!

Let me start out with it takes a great place to be given 5 stars from me but this place deserves every one!!! Decided to go out for pizza with my girl friend, grand daughter and her best friend. Saw this place on Google and decided to give it a try hoping it was going to be good, it was not good it was great! Friendly atmosphere, they do not scimp on toppings, and service was spot on. I will be going back a second time and I’m sure more!!

Oh my god. So hospitable. Family oriented and authentic. Beautiful, classic atmosphere. Consistency. ♥️ Plenty to look at as there are so many historic images and memorabilia alto keep you busy.
And the cheese pull on our pizza was just ♥️amazing. Delicious flavors. We ordered a Cesar salad yumm! Absolutely an authentic taste for a Cesar salad. I would only suggest that the FRESH garlic bread pieces used be baked, GRILLED or broiled to crusty perfection to add that perfect “crunch,” “crusty bread” otherwise the flavor is all there. Wow. And the big Al we opted for Turkey. We absolutely could not finish everything. So delicious!!! Will be returning!
Edit: we took leftovers … we ate ALL of it. Nothing went to waste. A++++++++

This is my first time coming and I was not pleased with food.
I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and the amount I paid was not a good reflection of quality or portion.
The dough seemed more fit for deep dish and not fully baked, topping was just tossed on so wasn’t spread evenly (some bites no pepperoni while others an mouth full) the pizz overall had no flavor what so ever (go to dominoes)
However staff seemed friendly taking order over phone and when picking up in person.
It was a waste of money honestly I hope I can give to homeless person

Had high expectations for Uncle Joes pizza, but was very disappointed. Pizza crust was undercooked and bland tasting. Sauce was too sweet and the grilled chicken topping was flavorless. Julienne salad was ok but nothing special. Service by Susan was very good.
