Uncle Fred’s BBQ is a mobile pop up food operation and catering company that was created in 2002 with the goal of providing some of the most authentic brisket, pulled pork, and award winning ribs in the area. We take a lot of pride in our food and BBQ is our life. Oh, and by the way we have some pretty tasty chicken, grilled wings, beef ribs and our mouth watering homemade sides like collard greens, mac & cheese, yellow rice, coleslaw, potato salad, veggie bake beans. Made fresh onsite daily.

I’ve been plenty of times to Uncle Fred’s in the last few years and have never posted. I can’t imagine why I haven’t. The food is always great! Good portions abundant. Service super. Please try if you haven’t. You will not be disappointed!

I meant to review this truck stop a while back but forgot to! It was a great deal for a sandwich and two sides, I can’t remember exactly how much I spent but it wasn’t over $17, it was great and I’m not a huge fan of bbq unless it’s Korean or off the bone Uncle Fred’s is great and always super great customer service every time you come by! Great portions and good sauces, definitely need to get it when I see them there again! I love supporting local/small businesses like this one

When the truck is the best part of your restaurant, you might want to get another career. This is a sweet man and he tried but the food is nasty and not seasoned at all. The greens are hard and bland, the ribs are just there. My husband was so mad when I brought this food home. He told me never ever go back here again.

Absolutely incredible bbq, i stopped on a whim and i am so glad i did. The meat is tender, the sauce choices are all top notch, the prices are fair and the amount you get in each portion is insane! I haven’t had bbq this good in northern va EVER! Higjly recommended

This place is not good. I have had it several times, fortunately only had to buy it once. Tasted like lighter fluid when it was cooked enough, couple times was still raw. Don’t get there before 1pm, not even 1 minute.
