Absolutely delicious! I’ve dined in at Uncle Fatty’s twice now and I will continue to come back to try more of their menu.
I went with the owner’s recommendation of the Beef Udon and Ebi katsu. The ebi katsu was delicious- light spice with spicy mayo while the breading was so light and crispy. The udon broth was so clean and flavorful, not to mention plenty of beef to go with the udon.
My second time I went with the chicken curry, pork belly bowl, okonomiyaki fries, and more ebi katsu. I probably ordered way too much but who doesn’t love leftovers?? The curry wasn’t heavy or thick and had perfect flavor. Honestly never disappointed with anything I’ve had here.
I’ve also ordered the karaage which was flavorful but the star is the onigiri! They are PACKED with fillings and has double the standard rice portion. These are not your standard konbini onigiri!

This right here is a real mom and pop type vibe me and my partner went in with the intention of getting a nice cold treat on the warm day and safe to say were blown away.
When you walk in you see a small but cozy 2-3 table set up and 2 people working running the whole show themselves. They were so nice and attentive! I loved the atmosphere in here it was super chill the best way to describe it is it looks like grandmas kitchen and everything’s made that way too.
We got a Mango Slush and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie and honestly both were perfect. They left us speechless. First off it’s the perfect way to cool off and the flavor on both was just top tier. Not too sweet but definitely not lacking flavor. This is an easy 5 star to give out, with service that good and drinks that refreshing you can’t go wrong.

I am a big fan of Sushi. Today I found my favorite eel dragon roll here. The combination with eel sauce is just perfect! I also tried fried sushi for the first time. It’s really good, with a crispy texture. The owner mentioned that it’s a new addition to the menu by the chef as an “open food.”Although the wait was a bit long, it was definitely worth it.

We looked into Uncle Fatty’s Food and Drink last week through Door Dash delivery. Everything we had was assembled great, and the best part was, it was still delicious and not completely mushy.
Over the weekend, we went to the store because we were around the neighborhood. Ordered to go. Food continued to be great, friendly service and not a long wait time. I’m not sure if we were speaking to the owner on the way out. However, he was kind and will be back next time.

The gentleman, who I’ll assume is the owner of the establishment, saw us immediately & offered to provide any explanations for the food on the menu.
The food was amazing. So, I’ll put this very simply: the salmon was GOD.
Perfect sear and crisp, flavor was immaculate, and sides were well portioned out, along with having lots of complimentary flavors.
I really liked the fact that a soy marinated soft-boiled egg was included on the side, along with the medley of vegetables marinating underneath the salmon to add a variety of textures.
$20 for the salmon bento box was well worth it and left me wanting for more.

Flavorful, so filling soul food! My first time ordering for my mom and me. We loved every bite of the lunch specials. So affordable, generous portions and fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this new addition to the spectacular choices in Cliffide Park.

I came to Uncle Fatty’s with high expectations and let me tell you I was not disappointed. Their food and spices are mouthwatering, the customer service is 11/10 and we got great iced coffee. The flavors were so rich and you can’t beat the price that they offer. I rarely write long reviews but honestly this place is such a hidden gem. Wonderful little shop run by a very kind couple. They specialize in Japanese snack foods (like onigiri and inari) and bubble tea, so it’s great for an afternoon snack. But they have also built out a pretty extensive menu of hot foods, including teriyaki bowls and mapo tofu, to enjoy for lunch and dinner. The food is yummy, comforting, and super quick & convenient.
I believe there are a couple seats in/outside, but the space is small so I’d recommend ordering 10-15min ahead on their website (directly, not a 3rd party delivery app) for pickup or delivery. Also, they discount some of the snack foods near closing time.
