The waitress was amazing and the food was just as good! Home cooked meals and knowledgeable employees helped us find local things to do. Country fried steak, corn fritters, stuffed mushrooms, chicken fried chicken and Mac & Cheese were delicious.

We enjoyed our meal at Uncle Buck’s. My son ordered the French onion soup and full house salad (huge with egg). I ordered the special, a blackened trout that was very fresh and perfectly cooked. Was a little disappointed with the smallish portion of mashed potatoes (hey, I’m Irish) but both the corn and potatoes were good. We skipped dessert as there were not a lot of options and none of the pies appealed to us. Would visit again.

My opinion of Uncle Buck’s is similar toy opinion of our visit to the town of Loray; modest yet quaint with a lot of personality. There was an interesting selection North Eastern beers on the cheap, and a decent spread of menu items. The wife and I got ribeyes and the kid got The B&J. Really the all-star if the whole meal was the mac’n’cheese. The steaks were well cooked, but a little charred and mine was almost 50% fat. The other sides were good, but a little plain. The horse-theme decor was a neat touch. Of the local eateries open past 8, definitely worth a consideration.

Place was awesome. Food was definitely some comfort food. Our waitress was so friendly and the gentleman that sat us was from my neck of the woods. It’s a must go if you’re in the neighborhood

We have never had such an experience before.
Our group had been waiting for the order for more than an hour. We were on vacation and could do it, but we were hungry!
The waiter tried to avoid us all the time which made us laugh out loud, but we’ve demonstrated fantastic patience.
The food was great, home-made style.
I think you shouldn’t select this restaurant if you are the group of 10+, because they are just not ready for this. The same we read in other reviews, but unfortunately it was too late to move somewhere else.

Good family food. We had a group of seven and everyone was happy with their meals.
The corn fritters were a big hit.

We’re from out of town and stopped here for supper before going across the street for a movie (highly recommend the Page Theatre).
Nice atmosphere, especially with the Christmas decorations. We had the specials – open faced prime rib sandwich and the pork chop. Both were above average and unexpectedly delicious! The potato cake side was especially good.

Had a great dinner, food was fast, hot and delicious. Server was nice and fast. Great moment when our waitress handed my son the etch a sketch and he asked how to turn it on. LOL

I went for comfort food and Uncle Bucks delivered! A quaint dining space with very friendly service and no fancy frills food, just good home cooked hospitality. I have a feeling this is going to be my favorite new spot for good food.
Price point was very reasonable, menu variety was great and they serve breakfast all day.

When here for lunch. I got a crab cake sandwich with chips and a pickle. The crab cake was really thin. It was salty and a bit on the spicy side. The wait was long.
The staff and atmosphere was nice, they just appeared to be short staffed.
My wife got a Reuben with fries, her meal was pretty good. Mine not so much.
