Great local diner, the food was excellent,
One of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve had in a long time. The fried fish was good also. We had an order of their fried onion straws, and they were outstanding.
Great food, the waitress was very polite and attentive. Our tea glasses were constantly being refilled.
And their prices are very reasonable.
We are definitely adding Uncle Bubba’s to our list.

Good food and friendly servers. Got served dinner in a reasonable time even with the huge crowd and our table of 8. Steak was cooked to order and our sides and entrees were all correct. We all had an enjoyable time and look forward to the next one

This place is also good. My new favorite meat is the peppered smoked sasuage. Fantastic. Had cabbage and potato salad. Cabbage was good. Let me talk you what, the potato salad was the best I’ve ever had. It was perfect AND it had chopped bacon in it. OMG! So good. Also they serve breakfast 7 days a week 6:30 till 11:00. Haven’t tried it yet but the prices are very reasonable. I’m a spendthrift. These prices really surprised me. I’ll be trying the breakfast soon and will let y’all know. The employees are some of the nicest and helpful I’ve encountered. Even by East Texas standards. Really like this place. Another fine local establishment I’ll be working my way thru their menu. Thanks to everyone at Uncle Bunba’s Steak House. See y’all soon.

We just moved here in October. They have a great variety and breakfast is really good. Food is made fresh when ordered. Angela works very hard and always smiles. She makes sure drink glasses are full and also makes sure the order is precise and asks if you have everything. I’d eat every meal there if I could. The prices are very reasonable.
The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. Hamburgers are loaded and french fries are fresh cut. Fountain drinks are mixed well.
The location is great and you can walk around after eating and shop downtown.

We just finished eating here. I couldn’t wait to get to the parking lot to write this review! 10/10!! I have three young boys, 9,9,10, who are food critics, and they LOVED it! One of my boys noticed the wonderful hospitality before we got our food—very friendly, warm people. Even the people around us were friendly, happy and nice. I blame it on the atmosphere. We will be back! Also, the wait for our food was not long.

Worst food and service I’ve ever had in my life. I didn’t realize someone could screw up simple steamed broccoli but they sure did, it was cold and almost a brown color like it was old. Liver and onions were dry , Mac and cheese had zero flavor and they charged you extra for that, whatever the brown stuff was in a plastic cup was ( I’m guessing gravy) tasted like crap. My son’s fried okra was mushy and undercooked, red skinned potatoes cold and no flavor, he said the fish was ok but more like the size of a nugget instead of a fish fillet, and said don’t even try eating the tartar sauce as it was horrible! After all the wait time to be served, disappointed, and ready to get out of there it took 20 minutes for the waitress to finally come get my card so I could pay and leave which I don’t understand as there was only 4 tables with customers. This place shouldn’t even be in business!!!
