Family vacation with daughter, son in law, granddaughters before they go to college. They came from Ohio and my wife and I came from Wilmington NC. Hands down the best pancakes (chocolate chip) I have ever had. We came here to cap off our trip and my goodness wasn’t this the best possible way to go out with a bang. I love going out for breakfast and I swear to goodness this is on my top 5 all time breakfast experiences. (This is coming from a guy who has had many a sloppy plate in Rochester under Mr. Beenz previous ownership, aka the golden era.)

I recently came in from a recommendation of a friend and I will just say I will never be back. I ordered strawberry pancakes. Don’t know what they do back there?! It’s like a can of fake strawberries on top of cold flat pancakes! Service was even worse! My server was an older heavyset woman (no offense. I can’t remember her name) Every time I would ask my server for something , it was like I was bothering her. Very loud and obnoxious for 9:30 in the morning. And on top of it, everything is extremely overpriced! I will not be back I’ll be sticking to the other better breakfast spots in Ocean City!

This was an enjoyable breakfast spot with lots of options! Personally I got the stuffed French toast and it was good especially with the cinnamon butter. It was a lot though and the choice of bread was not my favorite with the whole wheat taste. I got a side of home fries which were really good. Someone in my group got the loaded home fries which was packed with flavor and amazing even to share. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The corned beef was salty and tasted almost raw. Our server was friendly and service was quick. I don’t usually enjoy hot brewed coffee but this was good! I loved the feel of the restaurant and the coffee mugs were very cute. I would recommend if you’re in the OC area. There is parking (not many spots), although there is street parking.

Whenever I visit Ocean City I always have to eat at Uncle Bill’s. Great restaurant for a hearty breakfast. The servers and hosts are always very friendly and welcoming. They really know their breakfasts and don’t overcook their omelets like most diners do. The pancakes are fluffy and light and the atmosphere is bright and cheerful. I recommend Uncle Bill’s

The food overall was good. The hollandaise was fine. The peach pancakes were excellent. The blueberry waffles were tasty but pretty skimpy in comparison to a three stack of pancakes for the same $15.

Got the special for the day, blueberry lemon pancakes. Absolutely amazing. No syrup needed. If you do use syrup, go light so the blueberry lemon flavor can show through. You will probably have to wait for a table, but it is worth it!

Uncle Bills is one of those traditions everyone should try. From Ocean City New Jersey to Cape May you can find an Uncle Bills. No matter which location you choose you can rest assured that you will get friendly service, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, expertly cooked sides and fresh coffee. I am not privy to their pancake recipe but they obviously have it down pat. My blueberry stack was light, fluffy and evenly studded with fresh blueberries. They take great care and obviously pride in the food they serve which is why during the summer season there is always a wait for seating. I showed up in November early in the AM to avoid the rush but as I was leaving the crowds started to arrive. If you trust my reviews you will give them a try next time you want an awesome start to your day. My thanks to the ladies at the front desk for the food pictures. I was so intent on digging into my food I forgot to take pictures of it. The kind woman I spoke to was nice enough to go into the kitchen and take a couple for me. Try them once and you’ll want to add them to your summer dining memories.
