I absolutely LOVE this coffee shop. As soon as you walk in everyone is so welcoming! The shop is small but it’s so cute inside, wey comfy feeling, always playing amazing music. The Vietnamese coffee is a 10/10 the croissants are made with actual turkey and ham carvings amazing quality meats. The turkey & cheese croffle is 10/10. I will always come back. The staff is so friendly and kind and very informative on the menu. The owner is so friendly & will have conversation with hi customers. Very amazing experience every time I come here I feel like I’m walking into a friends house.

Went here to get breakfast and coffee I tried to order an espresso shot, they said they couldn’t do that and had to be their 4 shot drink which is extreme. Then order two cold cinnamon coffees they tasted ok. The toast was extremely gross and took about 20mins to make.
The service from the man with ponytail was nice but the shorter girl who might run things, talks with an attitude even with other guest. I don’t think she should be upfront.
Honestly food does not serve the prices and the service can be improved. Also atmosphere is kinda sad.

What a cute place! There were a lot of regulars who came in while we were there, which is a testament to how good it is. The atmosphere is cheery and the barista was really sweet and friendly. There are detailed explanations on the wall of what is in each specialty coffee, but the barista also helped answer further questions. The specialty coffees we ordered were absolutely delicious and served us well as dessert. We had a tough time deciding what to try as there were so many unusual options so we will have to keep going back until we have tried them all. Great place! I highly recommend.

Girl, my iced coffee with southern pecan tasted like a bath and body works candle. Not to mention the matcha was being whisked with a power drill and whisk attachment.
I’m not the type of person to leave negative reviews but it wouldn’t be fair for someone to want to treat themselves to something and regret their choices. The menu has no pricing and the drinks are overpriced especially for the quality and taste. This was my experience as of this August and I personally would not recommend.

Coffee dates, coffee mugs, coffee signs, coffee drinks and coffee trails are definitely an adventure so I couldn’t agree more with the name of this cafe, Adventure Awaits Coffee.
First, the barista at this cafe was probably the friendliest one in Bakersfield. As I write this I realize I need to start getting names of these awesome folks who create my cortados. Secondly, the shop has a ton of natural light and makes it a lovely spot to work remotely from or chat it up with a friend. The fun part of this cafe are all the coffee signs throughout it. You know the signs; the ones with clever sayings that make you wonder if the maker was reading your mind or has an inside scoop to your life. These signs were so captivating even my 20 year old non-coffee drinker (bless his heart) was enjoying and pointing out the signs. Most importantly, the cortado was tasty and I would definitely return to this shop!

I finally found my go-to spot for coffee and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting ,cozy seating, friendly staff, and that wonderful aroma of freshly brewed beans. I tried the Vietnamese cold coffee and I’m hooked! Pair it with a breakfast croissant and your morning couldn’t be better!

Amazing coffee! We got to meet the owner and hear his story. He knows what he’s doing and I love the simple ambiance. He definitely put his soul in the menu and I appreciate the dedication put into the products. This place will do great and it’s such a good addition to downtown Bakersfield. They sell local goods inside and you can purchase some of their beans. I’m glad they are open later since it’s not common. Perfect for a post dinner or morning espresso and snack.

Needed an afternoon coffee on my drive to Los Angeles from Sacramento. Looked up this spot as it looked like a fun spot. The decor and atmosphere was creative and fun. The service was warm and welcoming, unfortunately the quality of coffee brewing was poor. After discussing the menu with the barista, I ordered their cortado and it was basically the size of a cappuccino and way too much milk. It also was sweetened and not what I ordered. It was too late by the time I realized as I was on the road again. Bummer but it happens.
