The Chicken Breast and The Press sandwiches were absolutely smackin’!! Just look at that cheese pull. The sandwiches were super juicy, and the caramelized onions phenomenal. Even though the place was packed (and I really do get why!!), the wait time was only about 10 minutes. Totally recommend stopping by if you’re in the mood for the best sandwich of your life.

Vary well may be the best sandwiches in Seattle.

We dont eat much meat so my take may be off but if they can make a veggie sandwich this good then I have to imagine there other ones are great as well. We got the tofu delight and it was amazing. The mixture of caramelized onion, fried tofu, fresh bread, and sweet sauce was a perfect combo. The only bad thing is how messy it is which just means its not a first date place but if you can get passed that then it is 100% worth it.

The line can get pretty long but it goes pretty quickly so the wait is never too bad. They have two benches for seating that could probably fit 12 people each so sometimes it gets full but they are easy to take on the go and with golden gardens right there it is a good spot to grab on the way.

The atmosphere is nice as well. The color and lighting gives the tropical feel it was going for especially at night. The only thing I wish was a little different is the seating which would be super nice if it was a bit more open and had a verity of seating but its a small gripe for a great place. Parking is pretty reasonable since north of it doesnt fill up too quickly but its still seattle so im sure that depends on the day.

Overall a great spot and well worth a visit

I’ve ordered the Caribbean Roast from the other Un Bien location before, so I decided to switch it up and go with the Press this time.
The Press is similar, but it excludes lettuce & jalapenos, and instead comes with banana peppers, smoked ham, and swiss cheese, in addition to the pork. It’s also melted in a press after assembly

This sandwich was interesting. I noticed right away that the pork felt a little dry on the half that I was eating – like it was overcooked a bit. That was definitely odd. Thankfully, the next half of the sandwich contained pork that was as juicy as ever, but it was definitely pretty weird what happened in the first half. Not sure if they accidentally overcooked that batch or something

However, the rest of the sandwich was as good as ever. The hard but not overly chewy bread, the ridiculous amounts of amazing-tasting mayo, and the best-i’ve-ever-had-level caramelized onions are standards you’ll find on pretty much every sandwich.
As for what’s new on The Press, i liked the smoked ham the best – it had a ton of flavor. The cheese was fine – I thought it could have been melted more as it was a little stretchy, but overall still tasted quite good

For the price of around $14, this is a really good deal as far as sandwiches go

Is The Press as good as the #1, the Caribbean Roast? I wouldn’t say so. However, I still do think its a fantastic sandwich in its own right, and I’ll still be recommending Un Bien to absolutely everyone who will listen. 8.5/10

There is a reason this place is constantly in conversation for best sandwich in America. Some say the Cuban sandwich was started in Tampa and some say Miami, but it was perfected in Seattle. Get to any one of these locations and try whatever speaks to you.

One of the best spots in Seattle! Cute little area to eat that’s covered and has a few picnic tables to eat at. No matter what you order, it will be delicious but don’t skip on the grilled onions and black beans!!

Was highly recommended so decided to give it a try. On a Saturday afternoon there was only a short line. The staff was super helpful in answering all allergy concerns and gave good options. We ended up ordering the Caribbean Roast and un bien prawns. Both was really flavorful and would order again. Lots of outdoor seating.

Kind of a dumpy but clean and nicely painted place, but man do they have exceptional food. I had their Caribbean sandwich and it was incredibly tasty. Is it worth 40 min drive each way? Absolutely! Make out a point to visit these folks – you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! Sandwiches were stuffed full of veggies, meat, and sauce. Rice and beans were packed with flavor.

Arrived at 6:30 and ordered at the walk up counter. Less than 10 minutes later the food ready. Sat in the undercover area.

Highly recommend!

Yeah, there’s a reason it’s rated the #1 sandwich in Seattle. It’s sweet, salty, tangy, spicy, rich, meaty, smoky, fresh, bright, all packed into a single sandwich. Talk about MOUTH WATERING!

This sandwich was well worth the 30 minute drive out of downtown Seattle. The bright pink-and-green facade is unmistakable, and parking across the street was plentiful and made it easy to access the restaurant.

We ordered the Caribbean roast and Palomilla steak sandwiches — they were essentially the same (except for the protein), and while the pork is rated #1 I personally had a slight preference for the steak. All the same, we savored every last bite.

Be prepared to get messy — the juices get everywhere — but it’s a positive since you’re left with your hands (and clothes if you spill!) smelling like meaty Caribbean goodness the rest of the afternoon.

By far the best meal we had during our visit to Seattle. If I had to recommend one thing to eat in the Puget Sound, it’s an Un Bien sandwich!!

Really enjoyed this place with my pup Toto.
The Caribbean food was flavorful, the outdoor patio was lovely, and prices were very reasonable. Perfect for summer dining.
