Service was excellent and friendly. Place was clean and well lit. Looking forward to coming back!
Everything else was great and the restaurant included some stuff on the house. Very nice! Definitely will order again 🙂 TY
This place is amazing!
The size of the rolls and nigiri (sushi) is big, the tempura and other cooked foods are so good, the quality is top tier, and the staff are so nice!
Will most definitely be back again with different friends so I could eat here multiple times
Totally worth the drive out here even if you don’t live in Plano!
Our kids absolutely loved it.
Highly recommend if you’re a sushi lover!
We had the Payday and the Spicy Crunch Salmon rolls. Both of them were delightful, but we especially liked the Spicy Crunch Salmon. The ‘salad’ style topping was really flavourful and very unique.
The restaurant was kind enough to give us a dish on the house, which unfortunately I don’t know the name of. That too tasted fantastic although I couldn’t find it in their menu.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant.
Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We were in the mood for good sushi, and this place had high reviews, so I told my family, “Let’s give it a try!” It’s a small restaurant, and by the time we arrived around 8:00 PM (they close at 9:30 PM), more customers were already coming in.
Ambiance: Nothing special — casual and simple.
What we ordered:
• Sashimi combo – It was pricey, but fresh.nice presentation
• Rainbow roll – rice not the best
• No-rice salmon roll – Instead of rice, it came wrapped around about an “inch “of crab roll. The crab was so overpowering I had to scrape it off — not what I expected. Ginger was not as fresh.
Since my husband doesn’t eat sushi, we ordered the Bulgogi platter for him. Small salad came with it . But being a Japanese restaurant, I now realize we shouldn’t have ordered a Korean dish. It didn’t feel authentic, and unfortunately, he didn’t enjoy it. He was starving, but had to settle for it. The beef was drenched in sauce, which also soaked the steamed rice that came with it.
Since we spent too much they gave us a sampler of their house special some crunchy sushi .
Final thoughts:
Fresh sushi but not quite the wow factor I hoped for. Maybe stick to the Japanese items next time and skip the fusion dishes.
Staff were great. Quick & friendly service. To order, you simply mark what you want on the menu with an expo marker.
Ambiance is comfortable, though it’s a bit dark inside. Could be a nice romantic place for a date 🙂
