Very fresh, never fishy. Clean, i have watched them clean chairs and seats between servings. My favorite is sashimi salad. Cucumber and lemon in water. Owner/ chef extremely professional. Best sushi Central Coast.

Umi has become a family favorite / tradition. I’ve only been there three times but my wife has been going for many years. The staff is super frendly and quick. The prices are a little higher than some sushi restaurants, but not by much, and you notice in the quality of ingredients and presentation. Everything is fantastic but the 2 item bento box is a great deal. Also, if you’re up for a savory treat, the green mussels are wonderful.

I used to come here with my mom. This is probably the best sushi place on the Central Coast. The fish is always fresh and never tastes fishy. The service is great. You’re going to love it.
