Moved to the area recently and have been wanting sushi lately and have drivin’ past this place a few times… decided to stop and ordered a Cali roll, and a spicy sushi roll… both were very good!!! I am not a sushi conousier and am more if a newbie when it comes to sushi but this was very good!!! I will be going back for sure!!!

So excited we decided to stop in here! Not sure what sauce they serve with the Gyoza but it is amazing. This will be a regular stop when I’m passing through White City.

Jill at Umi is the best. She makes this place come alive with her great service, fun conversation and good energy. We enjoyed a casual dinner sitting on their outdoor patio. With chilled drinks in hand we watched the sun go down across the valley. It was the perfect way to end the day… well prepared sushi, awesome service, cold Sapporo’s and sunsets in the background. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

I think I have tried all of the sushi places in Medford and this is one of my favorites primarily because everything’s always clean and tidy and the plates come out very well prepared.
The service here has also been excellent every time we’ve been here.
I personally prefer Nigiri or Sashimi over the rolls anywhere I frequent, but I do appreciate the generous cuts of fish and the abundance of the pickled ginger

My last review is gone for some reason. I really like this place! I have been working down here from Portland most of the winter. Such nice people and the food is top notch! Usually get gyoza(the best) and a spider roll. I will be trying more in the future. Heading down there on Sunday for a week of work.
