We were greeted upon walking in and sat immediately for lunch. The soups were good and the sushi was rolled nicely and was delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and clean.

Dragon… Ball? Thought it was a dragon roll but it came out as two rounded… balls. Was very good. Sake flight was tasty. Staff was not so inviting at first. We asked to sit at the bar and we’re not sure if he said yes and actually meant yes. Nori on roll was chewy and a little tough. Idk if it’s bc it might have sat out or not. I don’t care for chewy nori so that was a bummer. Food was good otherwise. Prices were decent for sushi.

Love the vibe here! Super chill. Fine dining feel but you can show up after a gym session. Rochelle is the best server around! She treats you like family and always remembers your order. And, the food is amazing and presentation is beautiful! I recommend you try this place over the other places in town.

Enjoyed a nice evening. The location was atmospheric, cozy and modern. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed a Bento box but the sushi menu appeared wide and large. Would suggest this location, Enjoyed my visit.

This is a nice local sushi spot, not too far from the hotel we stayed at. We sat at the bar and watched them prepare the sushi, which is always fun. However, we ordered edamame as an appetizer, which didn’t come out until after our rolls were already served up. The rolls are a bit on the small side and didn’t stick together particularly well, so it got a little messy. However, it did taste very fresh and flavorful. Items that are gluten-free are notated on the menu, and they have gluten-free soy sauce if you ask for it.

I really enjoyed coming here for the first time with a friend. There was several options to choose from from the sushi bar or from the kitchen. I liked that the place was casual and staff were very nice and treated us very well. If you order from the sushi bar it does take a bit more time to get your order than to get your order from the kitchen. I was wowed when they brought out our sushi rolls. The presentation was beautiful especially with the Blazing Glory. It came out on fire. It was really cool to see something different like that. Also the Seafood Udon was delicious as well, nice a fresh. Definitely would come back here to try out more.

We went here for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we both agreed that we love the aesthetics of the place. You get such a very good earthy vibe the staff is very friendly, the food is incredible and I tried the tried the Sake Mojito to drink it’s so good! For appetizer, we tried Takoyaki again it was incredible. Since my boyfriend is a Naruto fan, we just had to try the Naruto inspired sushi and a salmon Teriyaki Bento box! The food is incredible well made, delicious fun place to eat definitely stop by the staff is incredible!

If I could give one star, I would. I love Umi sushi. Been here numerous times. My review is actually for their server, Rochelle. I’ve dined at many places before, never once did I have a server asked for a tip because she was leaving early. I had the cash in my hand and was going to leave it on the table. She wanted her tip because she was leaving she said. VERY rude and uncalled for. I still left her a tip but the manager was surprised I even did. Poor representation of Umi. Never once was our water refilled or we were given soy sauce and a ramuken. I hope another customer will never experience this with Rochelle. Let me remind you Rochelle, tipping isn’t mandatory. Be mindful before you ask. Be professional!
