Had to go get some x-rays at wild Cornell at 425 E61st St. And was looking for a sushi place nearby. I read the reviews and they were good and let me tell you this place is excellent. The fish is so fresh. There’s a lot of protein in the rolls. I had a Tom Yum soup vegetarian that was excellent highly recommend this place.

We stopped by last week for lunch. Our first time to eat there. We both ordered off the lunch menu. I had Tonkatsu and my wife ordered two rolls. All nicely made and tasty. The tonkatsu meat size was a lot smaller than at other restaurants but tasty.

Great sushi! This is one of my go to take out sushi places on the upper east side. Their poke bowl happens to be really good and a great value and their rolls and sushi are also excellent. The fish is fresh and the service is great too. Would highly recommend for dine in or take out

Couldn’t say better things about this place. Everything we had was amazing. Miso soup, amazing. Sushi, Sashimi, & Rolls, delicious. Ginger, soy sauce, spicy mayo, great. Dessert (tempura ice cream), insane. Water, service, & ambiance, incredible. Will be returning, very solid local sushi spot.

Ume was incredible! Came with 6 people for dinner and we ordered several different appetizers and rolls and were so impressed. This will definitely be my new neighborhood sushi spot for both dine in and take out. Some highlights: tuna pizza, crispy rice, ocean roll, ume roll, godzilla roll, spicy scallop roll, and spicy salmon roll. Currently BYOB too!
