Not only did delivery take over an hour when told 30 mins pizza was cold & dry. But the garlic knots were my favorite, the raccoons in my backyard wouldnt even touch these bricks. For paying over $100 better off going to hungry howies, or ginos next door.

Rude Owner Experience – Emilio
My son and I were waiting quite a while just to receive the bill. During that time, an older man approached our table and abruptly asked, “Is everything okay here?” While that question could have been polite, his tone made it feel more like, “Hurry up and leave—people are waiting.” I calmly explained that we were still waiting for the bill.
Once the bill finally arrived, I signed and paid it. I briefly went on my phone—literally for a few seconds—to close an open window. Within five seconds, the same man returned and aggressively said, “What’s going on here? People are waiting. Are you ready to go?”
At that point, I asked for the manager’s name and was told it was Emilio. I then learned that Emilio is not only the manager, but also the owner—and even joked about being the busboy as well. That joke was distasteful, inappropriate, and especially uncomfortable in front of my son. The entire interaction felt dismissive and disrespectful, as if I were being rushed and spoken down to simply because I’m a woman and assumed to be weak or naïve. I am not—and I will not let this behavior slide.
As for the food: the stuffed artichoke was honestly the worst I’ve had. Dry, bland, and barely edible. There is a far better, more flavorful stuffed artichoke at Tuscanini Restaurant, which puts this one to shame.
Between the rude treatment and the disappointing food, I truly don’t understand the hype this place seems to get on a Saturday night.

Went with my daughter. Just only had the slice, which was a great slice. Nice thing about Umberto s is they have olive oil and balsamic oil for dipping your crust.

We’ve been living here for 21 years and have only ever stopped in for a few slices of pizza during lunch. On this occasion, we had the opportunity to eat dinner here and it was surprisingly good. Service was very good. We started with a bottle of inexpensive red wine and some baked clams. The wine was totally acceptable and the baked clams were fresh, plump, seasoned well and served with a rich sauce (maybe olive oil and butter?-but very flavorful and perfect for dipping the complimentary, warm Italian bread). Our entrees were the scallops with risotto, linguine with white clam sauce, and the homemade sausage with broccoli rabe and sweet red peppers. Scallops were on the small side, but fresh and delicious, as was the risotto, served correctly, al dente, still slightly firm in the center. Linguine with white clam sauce included plump littlenecks in a flavorful, garlicky olive oil base, pasta was also just a touch past al dente, but totally delicious. The best dish of the night was the homemade sausage and broccoli rabe served with a side of linguine and marinara sauce. The sausage was juicy, not over cooked and the broccoli rabe was sauteed in sliced garlic and garnished with some sweet red pepper slices as well. The fennel wasn’t strong and not overly salted. The serving size was generous and easily served 2. We finished up with some cappuccinos. Totally surprised that we haven’t eaten dinner here sooner and also slightly surprised by the low ratings. Dinner for 3 with an appetizer and bottle of wine, tax and tip, just slightly under $200. Pretty fair for the quality, quantity and service. Manhasset is home.

This pizzeria has become my favorite spot. The best thing for me is you can sit down and have a quick IPA and keep it moving, the price is reasonable too. I’ve tasted many pizzas on my journey from Jersey to Long Island everyday for over two years and this is in my top 3 for sure. Keep up the good work, thank you for your awesome service.

I ordered a meal for my elderly parents from Umberto’s — pasta and fish. Only the pasta was delivered. When I called to let them know, they acknowledged the mistake, which happens, but told me there was nothing they could do and that I’d have to take it up with Seamless. It was disappointing to be left without any help, especially after they admitted the error. Other local spots like Villa or Gino’s have always taken care of their customers, and I expected the same level of service here.

The best pizzeria in Manhasset! The regular slice is solid with great crust and sauce, the cheese could be better, I am giving it a 7.5/10. The grandma slice is my favorite I rate it a solid 8.

We have made it a tradition of going at least once a week to have a a sit down dinner . My mother , myself and my 2 children . The food is delicious of course . But you know what keeps us coming back? THE STAFF!! Socially, Rodrigo . With his professionalism, attention to detail and just his warmth .
I find myself telling him about the family and asking for his . And that for us is priceless . I feel like that makes all the difference in the world. From the pizza makers to the bus boys . We are always so impressed and have a lot of fun when we go .
This is the perfect place for bdays , and any type of celebration . The place is always clean and the north’s are roomie and comfortable .
Keep up the good work and you have a gem with Rodrigo . He and your seafood is what keeps us coming .

I’ve been here a few times now and like the simple menu. Great place to hang out and dine with groups. Pizza is great and the entrees are quite good. They tend to be very busy during the dinner rush, especially on weekends.
