This food is simply incredible! My wife and I have been here a few times and the venue is spotless. The service is friendly and the dishes we have tried are the best.
My favorite is the grilled calamari that is delicious and fits my diet concerns perfectly. Grilled is extremely low calorie when compared to the usual fried version.
Last night we enjoyed the cauliflower pizza. Truly a delight, give it a try! I forgot to mention the fresh crusty bread on the table. My wife really loves this.
We have returned a few times and certainly expect to be back soon….
A shoutout to the manager and the waiter who treat us as family. No need to say more…..

During our visit we tried a few different slices and honestly the pizza was pretty solid I have never been to the original location, so I am guessing I missed out on a big part of the full experience.

The service was pretty slow if I am being honest, and it was fairly empty inside. Overall it felt like a standard pizzeria. Not bad by any means, but not something I would go out of my way for. A friend recommended it and told me the New York Giants love this pizza, but pizza is subjective ‍♂️ and I have definitely had better slices.

I ordered a Sicilian vodka pepperoni pie. This is an item on their menu, not a special order. They clearly took a previously made regular Sicilian pie and threw vodka sauce, pepperoni, and more cheese on top. It wasn’t particularly warm despite picking up the pizza less than 15 minutes after placing the order. Needless to say, it was a disappointing $37 pizza.

Edit: looks like the previous review said the same thing about their Buffalo chicken

The best grandma pie around… Umberto’s has 6 locations and they still take zero shortcuts! Great service from Antonio and the rest of the team.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had such a great experience at Umberto’s of Farmingdale. The restaurant itself is beautiful, warm, and inviting, and the atmosphere made the whole night feel special right from the start.

The food was absolutely delicious — everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really tell they take pride in their recipes and quality. From the appetizers to the main dishes, it was all outstanding.

The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the experience even better. This is the kind of place you’re excited to come back to and recommend to others.

Highly recommend Umberto’s Farmingdale for a great meal, a lovely setting, and consistently excellent food!

Absolutely amazing!

Had lunch today at the newest Umbertos location in Farmingdale (Airport Plaza).
It’s newly renovated and beautiful inside.
Food was great… had baked ziti and meatball parm hero. Can’t wait to go back again, next time for Dinner.

Shout out to our Waiter who super friendly and accommodating. Excellent service all around.

Great addition to the area!

Just ok. 2.5 to 3.0 if that… and it cost me almost $50 for 3 items! Thank goodness I had a Door Dash credit or I’d be mad!
First time ordering here, was excited because I’ve eaten at the one in New Hyde Park and was delicious. I guess the original is always the best. I ordered ravioli with mozzarella, garlic knots and meatballs on the side to have some protein. Meatballs not tender AT ALL! You should be able to cut into a meatball with just your fork with ease. I needed a knife to cut into these meatballs they just taste like a ball of flavorless tough meat. Same with the ravioli and the garlic knots. Okay flavor. The mozzarella cheese seemed very rubbery. Knots should be covered with minced garlic, parsley and cheese, these were not! Also, stingy on the sauce. Will probably never, well definitely not, order from this place again…

I went to dinner here with friends to celebrate a birthday. Two of my friends ordered Eggplant Parmigiano and I had Shrimp Francese. We each had salad that was very fresh and the dressing very tasty. The portions are large and there was a lot of food coming home. Everything was delicious. The Tartufo was sooo good, we took another one home.
The staff was exceptional. Frankie was our server who was charming and took very good care of our table. We were very impressed and asked to see the manager, David. David was very happy to hear that Frankie took excellent care of our table. David was a delight himself as he spent some time telling us some very entertaining stories.
I could go on, but suggest that you try Umberto’s for yourself.
Our group has already planned a return in the very near future.

Grew up eating Umberto’s Pizza in New Hyde Park, so I know what great pizza should taste like—and Umberto’s of Farmingdale absolutely delivers.

The slices are classic New York style: perfectly crisp crust, fresh sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. You can see and taste the freshness in every bite. It’s now my go-to spot for a quick, satisfying lunch.

If you love real, old-school NY pizza that’s consistently tasty and done right, this is a must-try. So glad to have Umberto’s close by again for lunch.

⭐️⭐️ Very Disappointing Experience
I really wanted to give this new location a fair chance, but both visits were disappointing. The first time, I ordered a Caesar salad for dinner and was given blue cheese dressing instead. By the time I realized when I was home they were already closed, and I was stuck eating it.
I went back again hoping for better, but it was still a mess. Orders weren’t entered properly, there was confusion with multiple customers’ pizzas, and there was no sense of urgency. I waited over 30 minutes while others got their food, only to find out they completely forgot my order and had to refund me.
This place wasn’t even busy, so these mistakes shouldn’t be happening especially for a brand with established locations. What was supposed to be a nice Sunday meal for my family didn’t happen, and we ended up getting Chinese food instead.
If you want Umberto’s, stick to New Hyde Park, or just go to Gino’s. Or the best go to King Umbertos in ELMONT!!
