Visited this vibrant buffet restaurant situated right at the heart of Blackpool last week and sampled their all you can eat spread ~
They have 7 different stations which are regularly replenished and consists of the following:
》World of Asia (Chinese) Mongolian stir-fried lamb, crispy duck rolls
》Teppanyaki (Japanese) | Fresh salmon, scallops, steak or juicy tiger prawns
》House of Spice (Indian) | Kashmiri lamb, pakora, chicken tikka masala, saag aloo, naan
》Continental (Italian) | Pizza, spaghetti and meatballs
》Carvery (British) | Turkey, lamb or beef with gravy, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes
》Desserts | Tiramisu, choco fudge cake, cheesecake, fresh fruits, gelato and chocolate fountain
》Drinks | Classic cocktails, wine, beer, ale, tea, coffee and hot chocolate

This buffet was truly an amazing experience! It had all of my favorite foods, with a wide variety of options ranging from Asian dishes to American classics to UK comfort foods. The selection was impressive and everything tasted fantastic. I LOVED IT DEEPLY.
Our server, Pritam, absolutely deserves recognition. He was a complete gentleman, kind, attentive, and incredibly sweet. Even though his shift ended before we left, he made sure we were fully taken care of the entire time. He tended to our every need and really elevated the whole experience.
I would definitely recommend this buffet to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!

Visited today on pop in visit to the area. Greeted by a great looking place, very well presented, polite and tentative staff. Drinks orders placed and off we set to take a look at the dishes on offer. Everything looked fresh and well presented, a large variety of food from Indian, Chinese as well as steaks, burgers and chips.
Some great desert options too.
My overall opinion was a great variety of food however there wasn’t anything that I could say wow that’s nice unfortunately. I tried literally everything, also in agreement with previous reviews, much of the food was barely Luke warm, but the custard was stone cold. Maybe that’s just the way they do things. Might go back some time but not in any hurry.
Reasonably priced and decent value for money.
If they kept an eye on food temperatures I think the experience would have been a whole lot better.

We had a lovely family meal here at umami. It was a very comfortable restaurant nice deco and seating. Food tasted good for a all you can eat buffet, it wasn’t greasy and everything tasted fresh. Especially the roast lamb dinner, chicken gyozas, fresh steak, huge prawns, duck pancakes, ice cream machine and chocolate fountain on top of the usual Indian and Chinese options. The staff were all so lovely, especially Aaliya who really looked after our table. They even had unlimited soft drinks for a small price so that was different to most buffets. Location is good. Paid Parking close by. Worth a visit when you next in Blackpool.

Had a lovely meal here this evening for my partners birthday, a great selection of different dishes to try. The atmosphere is very calm and welcoming. The restaurant is so ascetically pleasing! The service was great from jack who served us our drinks and explained the buffet. Another waitress called Aaliya was so lovely, friendly and sang happy birthday to my partner, which was lovely! Will be visiting here again!

With the Blue Light Card discount, we enjoyed a 1.5-hour buffet at Umami World Kitchen for £20.69 per person. The food quality wasn’t particularly outstanding, with flavours on the heavier and saltier side, but the variety of options made up for it. The soft serve ice cream was a delightful surprise! I ended up having seven full plates plus a cup of soft serve, and was so full I could hardly move afterwards.

Priyansha’s service was excellent. She always had a smile on her face and promptly cleared away our used plates. My son accidentally spilled his soup, and she didn’t complain at all. Instead, she kindly brought us tissues to help clean it up. She is a very thoughtful girl.
We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the restaurant sent a robot to deliver a small slice of cake with a candle on it. Priyansha even sang the birthday song for us.
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant, though the food quality could be improved. Still, considering the price, you can’t expect too much – it’s quite good value for money.

Visited around 5pm and were fortunate to be seated immediately. By the time we left after 6 there were lots of people waiting.
Food was ok, always plenty but quality average and some of it wasn’t very warm despite being sat on hot plates.
Would benefit from better signage to help find different styles of food – we didn’t see the sushi until too late as, bizarrely, it was positioned between fruit and cake.
The restaurant itself is lovely and decorated beautifully but a little more care could be taken in making sure the toilets and stairs were kept clean. We audibly stuck to every step.
My biggest complaint is that I felt almost bullied to leave a positive review online. One of the staff asked multiple times, directed us to the site, repeatedly requested that we used their name in the review, and hovered over our shoulders whilst we considered what to say – all while we were still eating!
