Umami sushi is a weekly stop for us! Some of the freshest rolls on the island. They have a daily special which is always so unique and I look forward to trying it every time. Umami has a nice variety of cooked and raw sushi rolls so there’s something for everyone. Check out their great lunch specials too!

My husband Cliff and I just got the lunch combos: salmon/avocado and seaweed salad, and tuna roll and seaweed salad – it came with literally 3 mouthfuls of seaweed salad! See pics. Not what we expected for $20 each and we are very disappointed.

I have been here a few times now. i got the beet it roll, tiger roll special & a poke bowl for take out today . Amazing . Nice portions. sushi has always been fresh , quite a few veggie head options on the menue !. Specials are creative and enticing. The counter girl Ashley is pleasant and attentive. It’s a clean resteraunt and the food is good,fresh and comes fast. I do recommend.

Excellent option for a quick bite. Location was easy to find, parking was available, service was great. The ladies greeted us as soon as we walked in. I ordered the Umami Salad with a bottle of chilled sake to pair. Decent portion, fresh ingredients and very colorful. The ginger dressing paired with a little soy sauce took the flavors to another level. Nice balance of textures as well. Food came fairly quick, discounts were available immediately after our purchase. Hold on to those receipts so you can get a few dollars off your next purchase. Looking forward to trying other menu items in the near future.

Unfortunately the only veggie option is the Greta Roll (pictured) carrots, arugula, red peppers, mango, cucumber and scallions. So you can only eat it so many times before you get tired of it but it is delicious! I usually take a month or so break before I go back. I do eat fish but tempura is not an option and I gave up raw sushi years ago. All that aside, the service is always good and sushi never disappoints!
