I recently visited this sushi restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The rice they use is excellent, perfectly complementing their creative sushi rolls. I was impressed by the variety of options they offered, and the quality of the fish was outstanding. They also have a fantastic selection of drinks to choose from, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I tried their volcano sushi, nigiri, and edamame, all of which were fresh and delicious. In my opinion, this is hands down the best sushi place in all of San Marcos!

Food was good. In fact, i would say it was great. But definitely it was good. Service did come with a smile……HOWEVER….. The 2 star rating was for the staff. We arrived 50 minutes before closing and were greeted with a firm…..you do know we stop taking orders in 5 minutes. When we told our waitress it’s still more than 45 minutes before closing, she told us the kitchen wouldn’t take any more orders unless we ordered now. I am not going to say I won’t return and give the service another chance…..but jeez yall. It’s a Friday night….you’re open until 10pm. I arrive at 909pm and you don’t want to serve us. Just close at 9 if that’s the case. Worth noting 3 other tables quickly got their to go boxes and left after they heard out interaction with the same waitress they had. Honestly….if we weren’t starving…..I would have left thanks to the friendly greeting.

Been here a couple times now on dates; never fails to impress. The Salmon Nigiri will change your life. The Mellow Yellow roll was my favorite – good luck not getting it stolen from right out under your chopsticks! The staff is young, fast, energetic, and kind. Our waitress was friendly and recommended the seared toro which was a treat (pictured). We’ve tried a few other places that are closer to the house but this is now our go-to spot for sushi and more.

Was absolutely amazing and delicious for the price! One of the most still moderately priced sushi places around for GOOD quality. Good service and reallllly good food, that even taught my 12 yo how to scarf 3 rolls down including his first Philly roll. He usually doesn’t like raw shushi but it wasn’t gross like some! All together ended up with 6 rolls, some appetizers and a bottle of saki all for under 100!

Excellent spot in a college campus area. Probably the best spot in this town. Relatively small, but can sit down many people around several tables. Services were fast and prompt, food was excellent and reasonably priced.

I would have given this place 5 stars but the service was a little slow and they forgot a few things that we ordered. On the plus side, sushi is, as they say, edible art and the presentation on their dishes is amazing. The fish was fresh and the rice just as good as it should be.
