This place is super impressive right when you walk in! You can totally feel the cozy welcoming vibe from the lovely decor and the awesome service from the staff. The atmosphere and music also greatly enhanced our dining experience here!
Food-wise, everything has come out in a lovely presentation, with good portions, and everything is so delicious! My husband and I love this place already.

We visited this place and absolutely loved it! We tried the tom yum, ramen, rolls, tofu appetizer, and cheesecake — everything was incredibly delicious and very fresh

We went here the other day and wow were we impressed! We started with the Fresh Avocado Rolls, which were *huge* and delicious. It had the perfect crunch and the homemade hoisin sauce (with ground peanuts) was perfect for dipping. I got the Salmon Teriyaki, and the glaze was delicious. It wasn’t too much of a portion, and the veggies and rice were an ideal accompaniment. My partner got the Green curry noodle soup with tofu and couldn’t stop talking about how tasty it was. The vibe inside is subtle (definitely feels like a neighborhood restaurant), and the staff was efficient and friendly. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a new place to try on Pittsburgh’s North Side!

Umai has wok dishes, sushi, Thai food, and ramen. The sushi was fresh and the bok choy in the ramen was really good. I thought the chicken in the Pad Thai was tough and it took a while to get our check at the end. Overall, it’s a cool looking place and a good addition to the area.

Unassuming little restaurant tucked amongst ornate architecture. Beautiful inside with a cozy, rustic atmosphere. The server was super efficient and kind. I was craving sushi, so I ordered the avocado roll and sweet potato roll; probably the best sushi I’ve had in years. My husband got the peanut tofu. The tofu was crispy fried and the peanut sauce was thick and flavorful. I got the green curry soup with rice noodles and tofu. The broth was creamy and savory and the perfect amount of spice. The eggplant was honestly the best eggplant preparation I’ve ever had. The veggies in both our dishes were fresh and cooked well. My curry was like 3 portions and I’m looking forward to having the leftovers for dinner. I am vegan, but I didn’t ask if it was all prepared vegan, which I will do nex time. Otherwise, 10/10 all around.

Cozy, family run business serving fresh fish and delicious dishes. BYOB with no corkage fee. Some of my favorites are the fire tuna balls (fried crab Rangoon topped with spicy tuna and jalapeños), double crab rolls, and their Thai stir fried noodles. 10/10 would recommend.

Overall just a really lovely experience. The food was fresh, reasonably priced, and served with wonderful presentation! I was surprised to see this place wasn’t slammed and will definitely tell everyone I know about it. The atmosphere is so chill and you never feel rushed (but the food is timely).

I went there on a Friday night around 5:15pm. Peaceful and calm atmosphere. The wait staff also match that same energy. I had the Yakisoba, I waited less than 10mins to receive this delicious phenomenal meal. I will return to try out other dishes.

Decided to pop in here tonight after getting a massage at the salon next-door and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Adorable set up they have. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I decided to get takeout. I ordered pad kee mao, crab Rangoon, and a shrimp tempura roll. All of the food was delicious. No complaints there. What made me decide to leave a review tonight though is I was mistakenly given the wrong order. when I got home and discovered this, I immediately I gave them a call and as soon as I began to explain the situation, the worker who answered was immediately aware of the mistake he had made and apologetic. he offered a refund for the item, but I actually really wanted my dinner, so I asked if they could deliver. To which he obliged and not even 10 minutes later, I am eating piping hot food as i type this. that’s what I call top tier service and I greatly appreciate it

One of the cleanest places around with fresh ingredients, you can tell they take pride in making their foods. As im sitting here eating i hear relaxing music people talking and the staff having fun this is definitely worth the hype
