Went here with my mom one random night. I live in Manhattan so I’m always convinced it’s hard to find fresh sushi-grade fish outside of the city, let alone uni! Everything was top NYC restaurant-like quality. The uni was buttery and delicious (I’m a self proclaimed uni aficionado). The Sushi and Sashimi dinner was a great deal for the quality. The owner works behind the sushi bar and his wife was waiting tables. Very lovely, hard working people. Will definitely be coming back when I visit my mom again.

Really special night with special friends. Umai’s chef did not hold back and we had the most amazing sushi dinner! Service was amazing, staff was awesome. I especially appreciate that they accommodated my shrimp allergy. From the first course all the way to last, nothing but perfection.

Cute little place but OOOH so delicious !! We went early…. Good thing, it got mega crowded by 7pm !! Our server Justin was very helpful in explaining some differences. We got a nice selection of Maki rolls and they were all delicious. The “specials” board has some very interesting selections. Will definitely go back and partake in some of the Ala carte sashimi selections. Oh… Not good with chop sticks ? Ask your server for the teaching ones !! Such fun !!
