My friends and I finally made it to Umai for dinner, and from the moment we walked in, we were met with such warm staff. The overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for catching up!
I asked the chef for their recommendation and was treated to the Chef’s Special Roll. This was an absolute standout, a perfect balance of textures and flavors! The thinly sliced lemon on top added a bright, zesty contrast to the rich, buttery salmon. The freshness of the fish and the delicate seasoning made every single bite a delight. I highly recommend taking the chef’s suggestion!
If you’re looking for delicious food and excellent service UMAI is the place. Highly recommend! We will absolutely be coming back soon!

The food was very good and the staff friendly. Good portions, fresh and hot. Relatively quick service. I will definitely go again when I am in the area. Don’t be put off by the slightly sketchy strip mall that it’s a part of, it’s nice inside.

I was hungry and saw this place had a good rating so I checked it out.
I ordered a Mongolian Beef to go and nice girl took my order and let me know when it was ready. Pretty fast.
So while I was driving back I could smell the aroma of the food I ordered so I was actually excited to get home and eat it.
When I opened it, I was a little disappointed because there wasn’t a lot of food for the price I paid.
I figured hopefully it tastes good and yup it was delicious.
Nice soft beef with vegetables, rice and a slightly sweet beefy sauce with it. I ate everything to the last bit of rice.
I’m glad it was very good so it balances out in the end.

Love this cute little place. Always has the freshest of fish and the Poke bowls are delicious. Not to mention the bento bowls are great too. Come and try it for yourself.

Holy Cow this place is hidden in plain sight. The food- delicious/ fresh and you can tell they know what they are doing with preparation and visual setup of the plates and bowls. I didn’t have to worry about eating raw fish from here.
The Environment- clean and they have one of the employees constantly cleaning when he is not serving. It doesn’t smell like fish and the floors aren’t sticky. The music is nice and it’s not too loud and distracting. The lights are not too bright so it’s comfortable to sit and chill while you eat.
Other- They serve beer which is awesome. I am here by myself and I have to say that I am enjoying it very much, step outside of your comfort zone and bring your date here for lunch or dinner.
