Boba made from real tea, slow cooked tapioca, and water views of Manhattan from the window. We have been here a number of times and the drinks are highly consistent and great quality. The staff is also great with extra questions and special dietary needs. A yummy treat for all!

Umacha has severely updated their menu, service, and has changed locations. Their previous location was not serving them at all, and was just a few steps away from where they’re currently located.
Parking can be difficult depending on the day. Weekends and holidays are much busier than weekdays. But the service is always outstanding and the same. The girls here are so enjoyable to talk to! Even when I’m taking a photo or video in this aesthetic environment they’re so nice about it!!
This place is almost always busy now, and good they deserve it!
It’s super pretty inside. The seating is much better compared to the old place. I’m very happy Umacha had a full on glow up! These workers know how to handle the flow of traffic with efficiency, cleanliness, and timeliness. They should all be commended!
My boyfriend and I always get their strawberry matcha latte and it’s delicious! With real strawberries at the bottom! I want to try some of their other menu items too. The waffles look delicious. I would include their previous setting photos, but that would be selling them short because they’re so amazing now. I’m glad I came back because at their old location I had a horrible experience.

Love this place! Great to satisfy my bbt craving as I shop! Love their brown sugar bbt and they even have brown sugar milk version for my daughter (no caffeine).

I love that the drinks here are not super sweet! Everything has a very good balance of flavor and you can actually taste the matcha in your drink. Boba is also flavorful and perfectly soft and chewy!
Unfortunately, I felt like it was a bit too pricey for its portion size. Additional toppings are also relatively expensive starting at $1/addition. And if you’re lactose intolerant, expect to pay for substitutions as well.

Very good flavorful bubble tea well priced. Much better than the fake sugary bubble tea in mitsuwa.
I got the mango lemonade with no sugar and it was sweet and sour and had a bright refreshing taste. I loved the star jelly, it was firm and chewy and fruity.

Lovely tea store by Mitsuwa market. It’s quite small. Only a few tables and seats available. Must people do take out.
Lots options for regular tea, milk tea, fruit tea etc. I got Ceylon black tea. Rich tea flavor. But it’s more on the bitter taste side. I probably will try something else next time.
The staff are friendly. Lots of customers in the afternoon. It took some time for the drinks to come out. Overall a good tea spot.

As a former bobarista who has worked in 3 different bubble tea stores and has tried various other stores at least once, this one will remain one of my favorites, as the drinks are always 10/10 and never dissapoint. However, one thing that I dislike about bubble tea shop owners is that they will never want to fulfill a small change request in a drink, and it’s always because “that is just how the drink is made”; that is how my visit went earlier. Today, the owner helped me at the register, since the other worker was busy making the drink of the customer before me. I asked her if I would be able to switch the type of tea one of the drinks I was considering ordering, but she said that they couldn’t. I’m not one to start arguing with workers, since i’ve been in their position before, so I did not ask why she couldn’t make the drink with black tea instead of green tea. I didn’t even need to ask because I already knew. Anyways, she then offered me the strawberry tea which is made with black tea. I declined because I never liked the taste of strawberry in black tea, I would have much preferred the mango drink with black tea, but the drink is originally made with green tea, which I am not fan of either. I’m not bashing the owner or expecting some kind of compensation, I am just simply stating how typical it was for the owner of this location to decline my request. I will continue coming to this store, I just wished there was the option for tea change in the drinks. Some people prefer the smooth, darker taste of black tea than the bitter, grassy taste of green tea.
Ps- please be more specific with your sugar options, specifically on the brown sugar milk tea. They have white sugar added to the drinks. I was extremely confused when the owner said that the drink can have either regular or no sugar in the drink. I thought she meant that the brown sugar could either be added or taken off. I have never heard of a boba tea store adding white sugar to a brown sugar milk tea.

I got the “Kiss Me” drink which has peach and jasmine tea. The flavors paired really well and it was refreshing on a hot day. The only thing is that it was kind of hard to drink all the blended peach slices at the bottom so eventually I just tore the lid to drink the rest of the peach pieces.
The drink came with a seal which is nice and you can also customize your ice level. The shop’s decor is modestly decorated and that gives it a cafe vibe. Not to mention you get to enjoy a nice view of the city and river through the floor to ceiling glass windows.

Great way to get Matcha at Edgewater New Jersey. They have a couple different options. A little bit on the watery/milky sidr so it was a good thing that the fruits balanced it a little bit more. I’ll come back again.
