We’ve dined in and also do take out. Pictured is the steak and cheese with fries. Normally we get them on a sub roll but this time we requested them be made into a burrito. Fries are freshly made. Everything we’ve ordered is always delicious!

Ulvia’s was a great find while driving through rural Central North Carolina! It is a simple, no-frills establishment with a menu that ranges from the typical US fare such as burgers and fries to traditional Mexican favorites like Huaraches and chiles rellenos. there are bottled beers available and nice desserts as well. Ulvia’s also has a little market that sells produce and some typical Mexican products such as dried chiles or fresh nopales. I will definitely go again!

If you are in the area this is a must stop in a surprisingly unassuming building in a unassuming location. We were visiting nearby Saxapahaw only to discover the main restaurant closed at the local brewery; as we headed out of town and only 2 miles out we spotted this true hole in the wall resturant. The salsa is definitely home made with the sharp taste of fresh cilantro. The plates were cooked to order and the typical sides found at all Mexican restaurants were surprisingly good! Everything was fresh and tasty!

As a local, I’ll be honest. Place looks odd, that’s why it’s good. One of the guys said “best shrimp Diablo” I’m a fan of the tacos myself. Definitely best food around for quick take out or some sit down if your cool with the local vibe.

Best fajitas I’ve had in my life. Tastes like home cooking. Everything only my plate was ultra delish. I took a long drive from where I was visiting to check this place out at the suggestion of a friend and I loved every bite. Definitely going back to this small, home brew styled restaurant. I wish them the best and hope their new business can take off quickly. They deserve success.

Very reasonably priced and always consistent with the food service and quality. They’re always very nice and take out is always easy,never EVER been wrong. My family has been going to ulvias for over 10 years and we have never been disappointed. Their French fries are a hidden gem!**

I ordered taco salad but it barely had any lettuce and one tomato and one little dab of sour cream. It was plain bland tasting. and let’s just say I won’t be back. It was too expensive!!:(!((( and portion size was small. Horchata wasn’t that good was watered down didnt have that cinnamon taste that I love. It tasted more like American restaurant than Mexican food. I Think they should give u more lettuce and veggies. And sour cream. Oh and they forgot to give me chips and salsa. I got the fried ice-cream too it was ok. Small portion and it was ok. They use strawberry and vanilla ice-cream.
