I have been visiting this place in the past 2 years. Quality and selection of sushi and sashimi are both good! I particularly like their fish crush.
However, maybe they’ve changed ownership recently, the quality of food and service are not as good as before. They added the hotpot option which I don’t think was a good idea. I didn’t see anyone choosing it when I went last time near Xmas. I think most people go there for Sushi considering there are many all you can eat Hot Pot places out there.
It used to be packed with people. I even had to wait in line to get in, but it was quiet when I went on a Friday evening around 6:30 pm.
I have tried many sushi all you can eat places. I think this one is quite good. Hope their business will get better and stay at that location. Will visit again!

Ordered AYCE and had a great experience.
We came to the restaurant at 9pm, and were told that the last call was at 9:30pm. We were afraid that we won’t have enough time to order, but it turned out no problem at all. We ordered five rounds within 30mins, each round with six items.
The service was fantastic. They even opened the oysters when we ordered it.
We will come again!

I love all you can eat sushi. The reason this review doesn’t have a 5 star is that they made ordering a bit too confusing. There’s also a bit of false advertising here too, in my opinion. There are limits of how many pieces of what you can order each time you order. So you have to know what you need to order so you can order some pieces that you really want. All in all, loved the sashimi. I enjoyed it. It sooth the craving. They even have raw oyster on the menu.

They should definitely stream line their process they only had 3 tablets for the whole restaurant and you need to flag down a server to 1) bring you the pad to order and then 2) flag someone down AGAIN to approve your order by putting in a password! :’) this slows things down pretty significantly. Way more than marking the little white boards used to :’) You need to be pretty adamant and not shy. Also we had to ask certain servers for the tablet 3 times :’) and then they’d start just avoiding eye contact so you have to know who to ask as well.
I still really love the menu and sushi here so I def recommend it. AYCE 50/per person including aycd house sake. I just really hope they have this tablet issue worked out and aren’t just doing this to slow customers down. I noticed the carpaccios used to taste different from each other but tonight they tasted like the exact same sauce on diff fish but it could just be me in that case.

Great all you can eat sushi! The fish is fresh and service is quick! Not more you can ask for. Keep in mind that you have only 75min! So be sure to maximize your time.

My wife and I have now been coming to Ultra Sushi for a few years now. This has become one of our favorite sushi restaurants to come to in the Bay Area! The AYCE is by far the best we’ve been to especially for the quality of the sushi. I’m not sure how reviews can complain about the quality here, their blue fin toro is high-class restaurant level of perfection! We always have an amazing time with here for date night and night out with friends!

I’m not sure how this place has low reviews. Ultra Sushi is probably the best all you can eat and drink sushi I’ve ever been to. The quality of the sashimi is excellent, they have an incredible selection of nigiri, and their sushi rolls aren’t just a big ball of rice. The service is also phenomenal due to their speed and efficiency. I’ve come here twice now, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Every dish was well presented and delicious! I thought it was kinda pricey at first, but I’ve spent that much @ other places. Keep in mind that it’s a set price, and it’s all-you-can-eat in 90 minutes. Sake is included in price. Tea is extra charge. At the end, it was worth it!

Food was pretty good, seems like authentic high end sushi. Salmon, eel and sea urchin were really good. Came on a Sunday night which is unfortunate because fresh fish usually gets delivered on Monday or Tuesday, but I loved the chicken karaage and gyoza.
I’m a simple guy and I like the cheaper stuff, but this is a good place to treat someone. Decor was nice, but chairs were uncomfortably close to the tables behind to us so we kept bumping.

We were uncertain about how this Ayce sushi restaurant would be but it turned out very well. For each starred item, you must pick two regular items but you can eat all you want. The size of the cuts of sashimi depends on the chef so there was variation in the cuts of fish. Also the first pieces were smaller and the later pieces were much bigger. The quality of the fish was very good and so we were happily surprised. Service was very quick and good, there was a fast turnaround after we ordered. The food came quickly and then we got an iPad for our next order. Oh yes, the mussels were tasteless so skip that!!!

Really value for the price. There is a rule for ordering to make sure that there is always 2 normal (non-star) item to accompany 1 star item. Star items are like toro/fatty tuna/salmon sashimi/nigiri, or uni items. The rolls were not too much rice which is nice, but I still think the crispy taco with sashimi on top is still the best value item. You also have a time limit to eat but food comes out fast so you will have plenty of time to get full. Fish were fresh. Not the best in all japanese restaurants but decent for a AYCE place. Hot sake was mid, though free.
