Such a cute little spot! We got there right at opening and there was a small line, but the service was quick, friendly, and super efficient. They have a great list of drink options and an amazing selection of muffins that made it hard to choose.
I ordered the Iced Vanilla Cinnamon Latte with oat milk and it was so good!
For food, we tried the Elle on ciabatta and another on an everything bagel, plus the orange cranberry muffin and the pumpkin cream muffin. Everything was delicious! ($30ish)
The shop also has plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. Parking right in front of the shop is a little tight and limited, but there is additional parking nearby so it wasn’t a big issue.
Overall, we loved the food and coffee and will definitely be returning!

Coffee shop sent from heaven with its 6 vegan breakfast sandwiches, oh yes, I said 6! We tried 2 of them and they were perfection! Lattes were also very delicious, one decaf one regular, both with oat milk. We also loved their vegan chocolate chip cookie. Thank you for the great vibes and amazing vegan food!

This spot was wonderful. There was a little wait to order at like 1030am but it went by quick. I got the vegan fig on a gluten free bagel, allergy friendly brookie (gf, df and nut free). Also got a pecan pie latte. Everything was delicious! They have gluten free, dairy free, vegan and nut free options. Would 100% come back when I am in town.

Would recommend, especially for vegans or veggies. I got the avocado toast, my husband got the vegan breakfast sandwich . Both were great. The coffee was good too, the syrups were really nice and not too sweet. There isn’t a ton of seating considering how busy it seems. We waited in line just a few minutes but the line was long out the door while we were eating so keep that in mind.

Ultra Coffee is an absolute gem in Asheville! The coffee is rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted—every cup feels like it’s made with real care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax, get some work done, or catch up with friends. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend something new to try. Definitely one of the best coffee spots in town—I’ll be back every chance I can.

10/10!!! My boyfriend and I love trying new coffee spots when we travel, and we were pleasantly surprised with how good their coffee is here! We ended up going back multiple times while we were still in the area since our overall experience was so good. We got iced lattes and tried their breakfast sandwiches as well- everything was delicious! No complaints and we will definitely come back when we are in town again. The staff was very kind as well 🙂

Really good coffee shop awesome bakery items and really good sandwiches and the people were super friendly and the service was very quick. Great outdoor seating and great indoor seating very comfortable. I would come back here for coffee every morning.

We ordered a macaron without asking about the ingredients, and our peanut-allergic daughter thought she tasted peanuts. They went out of their way to figure out ingredients, and even though my partner polished off the offending macaron, when they figured out it was safe they offered another macaron free of charge.

My husband and I were traveling and stayed downtown in Asheville. We went to several coffee shops and found Ultra to be the very best. With a perfect combo of excellent customer service, delicious coffee, alternatives for allergies, and a welcoming happy vibe, this coffee shop is clearly dedicated to make the customer experience a great one. The coffee is exceptional—rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed every time. I also highly recommend the lox; it’s fresh and delicious, making for a great light bite to pair with your drink. The only downside is that parking is limited, but it’s definitely worth the effort to find a spot. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a perfect spot for coffee lovers.
