The ultimate don’t bother fish and chip shop. Not even going to give this food a star it was disgusting.
Raw chips (Hard centres), sausage possible cooked in hand sanitiser as that’s what it tastes like.
Even the seagulls turned their nose up. I can only advise don’t waste your money

Very friendly, helpful staff. The chips were really good, crisp and well cooked; the fish was really tasty and brilliant crisp not oily batter.
The fish was a medium and although enough not huge and the fillet was very thin. The chips were meant to be a large and I expected to have some leftover but not really that many, I wouldn’t have called it large.
So in summary, great taste but definitely go larger than you think if you have an appetite to ensure enough and not do great value having to do that.

Went in for large fish and chips, which is what I ordered. While waiting for order. Someone behind counter questioned the person who took my order saying we don’t do a large! And told her it’s fine I’ll do a regular instead!! Whist costing me £12 for a large which you do not do. Picture attached and does not look large at all considering i have been in the food industry for a number of years now, I felt disgusted with the order I received. Will not be returning. No manners from staff and moaning from behind the counter!

Decided to risk it and go back here today. There were closing an hour early than what is advertised on Google.
My partner went in this time as I will get frustrated with them. Asked if they can do a large fish, I can confirm they do not offer large fish as I was told. last time they robbed me blind by charging me for a large fish which they do NOT do. This place take your money for granted and don’t offer large fish in the tourist season. BE WARNED.
I can also confirm the food is nice but the portions you get given are not up to standard. As in the picture, two plates straight out of the box and on the plate. MASSIVE ISSUES WITH Chips PORTIONS when both ordered large. This time even though they do not offer a large fish, this one is huge compared to the other picture which was ordered last week. Alot of kids work here so you won’t get your gourmet fish and chip shops chefs here.
All in all if the portions size was stable and not different every time, we would return.

First of all, have you ever heard of a smile. if I could of had a bit more fish and chip with the grease I would of paid extra for it even the extremely hot curry sauce didn’t take away the taste of the grease on that note I’ve never had a curry sauce that is runny as a baby’s nappies, that said that might of even tasted better how hard is it really to not burn fish and chips like the one I received today even my 6 month old grandson could of cooked it better. this is simply the worst fish and chips if you can’t even call it that. so if you want to feel sick with the amount of grease in you stomach and treat your dog a take out this is the place to come 🙂

Great classic fish and chippy with veg and vegan options! The only downside was that veggie options and sauces were maybe a bit steep but, it was worth it to be able to sit down inside and have a decent selection of filling vegan options. Another plus was the sauces come in a good size and last for your entire meal and you get two veggie sausages in a portion.The large portion of chips also definitely did what it said on the tin. The servers were chipper and the chips were proper. Highly recommend.

Delivered to the tennis club by Ian promptly and piping hot. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the curry sauce was a hit too, we must order more next time! Great communication from start to finish and fantastic service. Thank you, we will be back….

These have to be the worst fish and chips ever! The chips were black, and not because they were over cooked, in fact several of my chips were still raw. The batter on the fish was soggy and had no taste. There was so much grease in the box that my kids refused to eat them. In all honesty I didn’t finish mine either they were so bad. An absolute waste after paying £51 for four fish and chips and three pots of curry sauce. Avoid this place. It could also do with a good clean, the floor looked filthy.
