Visited from out of town to see some friends in Tampa. Restaurant came highly recommended. Gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Absolutely packed inside and out. Luckily we had reservations and were seated quickly. Server (Sarah?) was fantastic and very helpful for the newbies with suggestions and recommendations. Drinks were tasty. Only complaint was the cooked proteins were a little dry. (Steak was ordered medium rare) And chicken was on the dry side. Oysters were good. No pic because we ate them too fast!!! Mac and cheese was excellent.

Super location!! A place where you can go with your children and sip your drink comfortably 🙂
There is plenty of seating area. There is a separate mini bar outside, live music in the evening was a bonus for us. However, they played music that was a bit heavy for the atmosphere, I think they should have played it softer 🙂
When the place is so popular, the waiting line becomes quite long. We waited outside for 45 minutes for a seat, but this did not cause us any problems. We had a drink outside and enjoyed the music and the atmosphere, then went to dinner. Of course, we waited for our food for more than 20 minutes, but I think this is understandable at this intensity.
Cocktails were very successful. I chose my wine from $5 per bottle, donated to animal hospital, I don’t remember the name.
The food was successful, but what came on the side were burnt things that were not even clear what they were!!
The ice cream was very successful both in its presentation and taste.
Having its own parking lot is wonderful.
U.le.le gained a new customer. 🙂

My boyfriend and I were obsessed with Ulele from start to finish! The atmosphere was so cool and we loved the high ceilings from the first floor. Host service was okay but our server was great! Very attentive but not over the top. He knew when we were ready to order more and brought the dessert at the perfect time! Food was amazing!! We were surprised by the Brussels sprout salad and the bourbon butter cake. They were out of this world! Everything else we had was delicious as well. Having their own brewery was a fun touch. We enjoyed their in house brews with the meal.

We chose Ulele to celebrate our anniversary, and it was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The setting along the Tampa Riverwalk is stunning—peaceful water views, beautiful architecture, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a memorable evening.

The food was exceptional from start to finish. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, perfectly cooked, and full of bold, balanced flavors. You can truly tell that quality ingredients and attention to detail are at the heart of the menu. The presentation was just as impressive as the taste, making each course feel like part of the experience rather than just a meal.

Service was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Our server made excellent recommendations and helped make our anniversary feel celebrated and personal.

It’s easy to see why Ulele is Michelin-recognized and so highly regarded. The combination of incredible food, scenic views, and top-tier service makes it a standout restaurant not just in Tampa, but anywhere. If you’re looking for a place for a special occasion or simply an amazing dining experience, Ulele delivers on every level.

Our favorite neighborhood spot never disappoints. After a lovely day at the Gasparilla Arts festival, a cool Tampa Mojito and IPA hit the spot while waiting for a table. The Welcome staff, bartender and waiter were all very courteous and professional. Had some different appetizers, but also got the grilled oysters which were outstanding.

Ulele is always a solid experience. The atmosphere along the river is hard to beat, great views, relaxing vibe, and perfect for a nice lunch or dinner with family and friends. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, with a unique menu that mixes local Florida ingredients and creative dishes. Service has always been attentive, and the overall experience feels special without being overly formal. Definitely one of my favorite Tampa spots to unwind and enjoy a good meal.

We had a great birthday lunch. Crab cake was all crab no fillers. Gouda Grouper was excellent. Pineapple upside down pudding was great. The best thing about our experience was the servers, they were tremendous! I was given a box of chocolates and a birthday card signed by the staff, that is above expectations. The great servers were Brandon and Liz. Liz was training under Brandon but Brandon is doing such an amazing job of training her, I am specifically asking for Liz when I come back. Liz is awesome!!!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekday lunch at Ulele, with delicious, flavorful food and a kitchen team that was incredibly accommodating of my gluten allergy. While the food was excellent, the highlight of our visit was our waitress, Bre.

Bre is truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and a fantastic listener. She took the time to understand our preferences and made thoughtful, spot-on recommendations tailored perfectly to our needs. Her knowledge of the menu, from entrées to desserts, was impressive, and her intuition and care elevated our entire dining experience. She made us feel genuinely welcomed and created a personalized, memorable experience.

Thank you, Bre, for your outstanding service and kindness. You are a gem, and Ulele is lucky to have you.

As a local business owner with Heaven Sent Roofing, I appreciate restaurants that deliver both quality and a great atmosphere, and Ulele does just that. It’s a great place for client lunches, team dinners, or celebrating project milestones. The riverfront setting creates a memorable experience, the food is consistently well prepared, and the service is professional. Proud to support a Tampa staple that reflects the character and hospitality of our city.

First of all, it’s not fair to put the Water Works Meatloaf in the same category as the meatloafs that come to mind when you think of meatloafs at home. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. It was simply incredible.

First time my son and I had ever tried oysters and we’re hooked!

The muffins were just the right combo of sweet and heat.

Those that ordered the seafood risotto raved about it. One of them said that it was the best meals she’d ever had.

Mac & Cheese had a generous portion of spare ribs.

Great value for the quality of food they serve. We will be going there every time we visit Tampa.

Free valet when you dine which is an added bonus.
