I consider myself a connoisseur for South Indian food and can cook and rate the food with high degree of certainty. The food was not good, tried many items and literally all of them were not eatable. I found most of the customers were not South Indian so they may not have the right point of reference. This is not authentic south Indian food and very surprised about the food taste considering their high rating. The ambience was lively, plenty of parking and clean restrooms. My review is in good faith and suggesting the restaurant to check their offerings. The mysore bonda felt like fried bread, vada had a weird taste, dosas were just okay, even parotta was not good.

The Stuffed Mirchi and Medhu Vada are standout dishes (the vada was superb!). They also just added Papdi Chat and Samosa Chat to the menu, and both are delicious. Great spot! Will definitely be visiting several more times.

Went with a group of friends and had a great experience. We ordered dosa with sambar and idli, sambar vada, bisibelebath, and pav bhaji—everything was delicious and full of flavor. The dosa was crisp, idlis were soft, and the bisibelebath and pav bhaji tasted authentic and comforting. Overall, fresh food and a wonderful place to enjoy with friends. Highly recommended.

Ulavacharu Tiffin Express is a gem for dosa lovers! The food here is absolutely fantastic—crisp, flavorful dosas with a variety of chutneys and sambar that hit all the right spots.
A special shoutout to Naveen, who was taking orders with such warmth and hospitality. His helpful nature and ever-present smile made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Naveen, for your amazing service and for serving the food with such genuine kindness! I’ll definitely be back for more delicious dosas and that welcoming vibe.

Great food – honestly really surprised by how much I liked the food as I don’t usually eat vegetarian – I love my protein, so I’m shocked by how much I like this spot.
Although I don’t usually eat vegetarian, the food here is so flavorful and the quality of the food tastes great.
The woman at the register is really great at recommending her favorites and honestly everything I’ve tried so far is great. I’d definitely say give this place a try! I’m now a new regular and it’s become one of my favorite restaurants in Lathrop.
The spot is always busy it seems and I think that’s probably a testament to the quality and taste of the food- which has been really fresh, delicious, and authentic.

NOT your normal Indian food! Instead of the boring old butter chicken and Naan this place serves authentic southern Indian food featuring huge crepes stuffed with potatoes and a buttery, flaky fried flat bread. Different but delicious!

I’ve been eagerly anticipating the opening of this restaurant in Lathrop, and the wait is finally over! The flavors are just as amazing as the Santa Clara branch. The staff is incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. They were sold out of Mysore Bonda, but I’m definitely coming back to try it! I sampled a couple of dishes and absolutely loved the Puri and Kurma. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Finally we have great vegetarian South Indian restaurant. We ordered Podai idly, absolutely flavorful soft and melts in mouth.
Masala dosa was crispy and chana poori was flavorful. Last but not least the filter coffee and chai was sweet end to the meal.
All of them greet with you with smile and are very welcoming.
