What a great experience! We came for lunch and had a great time. Service was wonderful, very attentive. We order soup, the pretzel, and some sandwiches. We also ordered dessert and had the cheese cake, unfortunately the only picture I have of it is the empty plate, it was so delicious that we devoured it before I could get a picture. Highly recommended!!

The staff was very friendly. My friend and I both got the crab meat salad and it was the perfect lunch. Not to heavy but filled us up. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals as well.

This is genuinely some of the nastiest food ive ever had, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, fries, whatever panini, and APPLE SAUCE and all of them were so unedible. I couldn’t eat more than a couple bites without feeling nauseous, the meat and actually everything here just tastes microwaved, except you would find better microwavable food at an actual grocery store. The apple sauce just wasn’t apple saucing right, and also like, 3 dollars for that amount when i could get triple the amount for 2??? The food is truly ugly, please spare yourself, even delaneys is better.

The ugly mug is a perennial favorite. The food is consistently good, and the beer selection has some variety, but could definitely be a bit more expansive with some more local brews instead of the mass produced varieties you can find at any corner bar. I had the French dip. I was a little disappointed in the au jus, which was very watery, and fries are always better than chips. My wife greatly enjoyed her tuna salad. If you are in Cape May, visiting the ugly mug should be on your to do list.

Normally I would say that this place had a great ambiance and cool spot. We were having a good time, till it was almost closing time. The bouncer came to us and started yelling at me and speaking extremely rudely. I stated that I am more than ready to leave but there is no reason to yell when there are others also standing there. The only difference was that I wasn’t a white person. I realized that the owners daughter was one of the bar tenders and she started yelling at me to immediately leave. I am fine with that and will never spend another $ in this racist establishment.

My fiance and I had to wait a half hour to be seated, we order mozzarella sticks and two lobster roll platters. I didn’t care for the lobster roll at all. I’ve never had a lobster that had mayonnaise on it. And this one had a lot of mayonnaise. My fiance didn’t mind it but I don’t like mayonnaise at all. The food was cold and is really overpriced.
