Chicken salad came with egg and bacon. Did not state it on the menu when I ordered online. Was disgusted by egg in my salad. I personally don’t eat bacon out of fear of parasites but I know many ppl don’t eat pig for various reasons. Should’ve been listed. Food went to waste. Pretzels were ok but tasted like garlic bread sticks instead of pretzels.

I decided to visit this place off of a recommendation from the staff of the hotel that I was staying at, and it was a fantastic experience!! All of the food was delicious, but the ribs were some of the best that I have had in a while!! Our waitress was extremely kind and patient and answered all of our questions. My only constructive criticism would be to specify that the sauce on the wings is more of a BBQ sauce with varied heat levels, as I ordered them thinking they would be like Buffalo wings. 10/10 experience, though, as they were still delicious.

Thought it was a biker bar when we first went in, but was pleasantly surprised they were able to quickly accommodate our large party. We did have to separate into two separate tables, but it was fine. I got their namesake burger, which was topped with a tangy mix of slaw, BBQ sauce, and onions.. but the meat was overcooked. Sweet potato fries were yummy, and the kids enjoyed their pizza.

Everything was really good. I had the Muddy Clucker and Ton O Chili Fries, and my wife had the Turkey BLT Grinder. The service was good. They are listed as a restaurant, which is why we decided to try it out as soon as 9 o’clock hit it was full blown bar atmosphere which is great if you like that atmosphere it just wasn’t what we were wanting this particular night. I would definitely recommend the food and would return. However, I would definitely do it earlier in the day to experience it in a more casual atmosphere. This place is a hidden gem for sure.

Wow! What a great meal & best service we have experienced in a long time. Our server [forgive me – I did not catch his name – tall, pony tail] was awesome! He was serving everywhere but somehow was on top of everything with a cheerful word & a smile. The food was incredible! Everything was unique [smoked turkey on my BLT was wonderful!] and thoughtfully combined – all @ very reasonable prices. HIGHLY recommend!

Barbecue ribs were smoky with a spicy barbecue. Alot of meat , hardly any fat.
Only downside to them is that they were dry (not moist).
The waitress was friendly and great with drinks.

The food may be standard on the face, but it gets so much better when you realize the portions could feed two, and that’s the appetizer. Forget that, what really matters here is the service and atmosphere. It’s a snug little tavern and has all the trappings to go with it. Definitely suggest.

Stopped by for dinner and it was sooo good! I ordered Duck pizza (your own 5 toppings) and my wife got the Colossal calzone. Made my own supreme pizza that had sausage, peppers, onions, spinach and garlic. Our server Gage suggested both come dirty which is their special seasoning and it was definitely a good call. Lots of leftovers to enjoy another day.

I had heard a lot of good things about the Ugly Duck, and I was not misled. The food was really good and the staff was friendly and attentive. It’s not very big inside, so I imagine when really busy it can get crowded with wait times. We went at 6: 30 and we got seated promptly. They also have a really nice outdoor dining area as well, so that probably helps during busy times when the weather is good. I got the Cajun chicken Alfredo and my wife got the BIG fish sandwich. It was indeed a big fish sandwich. The soup that came with the pasta was amazing. I forget what it is called, but it had a perogie on the bottom and had chicken and veggies and was nice and spicy. We will definitely be back to try out their pizza.

It is a simple bar with a few restaurant seats added to allow people to dine in. However, do not be fooled by the simple decor. This place has good mozzarella sticks, a solid burger, and a tasty calzone. I will definitely be back.
