When I first went there was a problem where I didn’t end up getting my pizza. The employees were extremely accommodating however, and when I came back I was given a free pizza for me and my partner to make up for the last time- on top of the refund we already received. The pizza is a huge portion and is worth the cheap price for a quality meal. I highly recommend, the food tastes great and the atmosphere is chill and relaxed!

I thought the pizza was pretty good. They give you a HUGE piece of pizza and a soda for $12. It took some effort to eat the entire slice. Lots of outdoor seating. Just a few indoor seats. It would be a cool place to hang out with some friends or family in the winter months. Soda was good!

This place was fantastic. It’s a super cute place with a great atmosphere. The staff were kind and service was fast. Best of all, the pizza by the slice was an *amazing* deal because the slices are gigantic and delicious. It’s classic, bare bones pizza and is super crispy on the bottom which is exactly what I was looking for. And, it comes with a drink! They also offer specialty pizzas and calzones that sound really good. This is definitely going to become a go-to place for me.

Made a special trip to Ugly Pizza, 1st takeout, there will be more. Got the pie and a salad home and it was hot and delicious. The combo pizza (specialty pizza) and a giant salad for $38. The atmosphere was comfortable, space heated, and clean at 8pm. Several customers enjoying a beverage and dinner. Parking was fine on a Friday night.

Ugly But Honest Pizza in Tucson is an absolute gem that lives up to its name in the best possible way. The pizza is bold, unapologetic, and incredibly flavorful—perfectly crisp crust, generous toppings, and sauces that taste fresh and thoughtfully made. Every bite feels hearty and satisfying, with no shortcuts taken.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, reflecting the restaurant’s honest approach to food. The staff is friendly, passionate, and clearly proud of what they serve, which adds to the overall experience. Whether you’re a Tucson local or just visiting, this place stands out as a must-visit for anyone who truly loves pizza. Ugly on the outside, maybe—but genuinely excellent where it matters most.

The pizza was vary good! The bottom of the pie was crispy and it was served hot. We ordered the Company Combo and we could see 2 or 3 bell peppers, and 2 mushrooms. It seemed there were a few more vegetables under the toppings. The sausage has great flavor, a little spicy but I really liked them. I really loved the sauce, it has several chunks of tomatoes, so yummy. I also got a Mexican Lager, and it was all pricey. Overall, good but pricey. FYI – Only street parking. Order at the bar, no table service.

We loved it!! It’s in Armory park in a very cool part of town–the build out is exceptional and very well done–lots of seating and a great bar. You can order at the window or if you sit at the bar–you can order at the bar. Salads are enormous–prices are great!! We had pizza and beer–the pizza was very good–need about one more minute in the oven–but really the crust is very light and delish. The toppings are very generous whatever you pick. We especially enjoyed all the different beer offerings from local breweries. Great concept and I hope it takes off–location is fabulous to down town. Will definitely go back!!

First time we ordered, we took it to go. This pizza was hands down the best pizza I have had here in Tucson! Took the family back to dine in and ordered the same pizza, wasn’t consistent with the first pizza but was still good. Wings were great and they make a homemade buffalo sauce that was delicious

Very tasty calzone with pepperoni and sausage. Enormous proportions for a fair price. Ordered in person and waited about 20 minutes.

Ohhh boy! When I tell you there ain’t nothing ugly about this food, I ain’t lying! Both wifey and I ate 2 large slices of pizza & 2 sodas for $23.00 The customer service here is awesome! The food is served fresh and hot! We love dinning outside during the rainy weather and with the gas heaters. Our first time eating here just solidified the fact that we’ll be back for more!! Great location, great food and awesome staff!!
