Absolutely loved our experience at Ubuntu! We had the deviled egg toast, chilaquiles, winter toast, and a specialty latte—everything was excellent and full of flavor. The patio seating is such a vibe, especially with the fireplace, and I loved that they provide blankets when it gets chilly. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Can’t wait to go back!

What a great spot! The patio and lightning is perfect. The customer service was stellar and the food was perfect. There were two extremely friendly and welcoming employees helping us the other night. We just found a new spot! The Branzino was the best and crispiest we have had, and only $33.

We love the entire new River Street marketplace complex but mostly what stood out is this cute little café bistro feeling type of restaurant. We came in for lunch while we waited to go to the petting zoo and we were so excited we did! Food and service was amazing. Definitely will be trying more things on their menu. We’ll have to come back for dinner too. Highly recommend

We came here for some brunch and some studying/ work. Very chill and cool ambiance. The staff are super friendly and approachable. Luka/luca was our server/host/waiter. I’m not sure how to spell his name but very friendly and gave us a mini education on where the name of the restaurant came from. Overall a must come if you’re nearby.

I was able to eat at this restaurant twice this week. First I went for lunch which I loved so much I came back to explore their dinner menu. Both were absolutely delicious. The food is made fresh and is flavorful and tasty. The service was excellent as well. Cesar was our server both times and he was exceptional. We felt like we were comfortably eating at home instead of a restaurant. The Del Rio district is such a fun place to be out either for lunch or dinner and if you go, I 10/10 recommend this restaurant.
For lunch I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The bread was house made focaccia that was both toasted and soft.
For dinner I ordered a spinach girella pasta and Brazilian cheese bread. The plate was beautifully presented and tasted excellent.

Giving this place 2 stars due to how over priced this place is.
$22 for Chilaquiles without meat? Add Meat you’re at $29.50. What in the world?
Also a plain bagel with Cream Cheese was $15 plus a tip brings this total to $17.

Wow I am incredibly impressed by this location. They have the best barista i’ve encountered, Randy never fails to get my drink tasting just right!. Not to mention he always manages to have a good conversation with you. I only tend to go for the coffee but for sure need to try their food sometime.

Love it just as much as the Long Beach location! We came here for lunch and were greeted with such friendly staff who took care of us right away. The whole vibe is casual and so cool. They have a huge bakery case filled with tasty baked treats for any time of the day. I ordered the ahi salad, and my sister in law and mom had the salmon and couscous bowl. They were both delicious! And as always, the service was top notch. They really take extra care with making sure you have everything you want and are happy with the food. With so many dining choices, the quality of food and service at Ubuntu are what keep me coming back. And be sure to order the Brazilian cheese bread for the table to munch on. Yum!

Enjoyed this place, the area, the atmosphere, full stop. Had the burger but forgot to get a photo. Others in the group had the chicken sandwich, angry & tame. All the food was good and we recommend. The burger has a umami spread, plus ordered the optional fried egg. Totally worth a visit!!!
