These are some of the best bagels I’ve had anywhere, ever. In fact there is only one bagel I’ve had before which may have been better, but it was in NY about ten years ago and memories drift. Living as I do now in SF, we’ve looked high and low for bagels of this quality and while there are solid choices in the Bay Area I’ve not yet found anything to compare with these big, luscious, creative bagels and spreads.

I don’t understand why bagel deli employees REFUSE to actually toast a GD bagel. If you aren’t there to look them in the eye and demand a toasted freaking bagel, YOU WILL NOT GET IT. Jerks. Thanks for the cold, untoasted bagel sandwich where the toasting aspect was its most redeeming quality.

Great store. Great bagels. TERRIBLE IPHONE online ordering. Dunno who designed this Toast atrocity, but I don’t think they ever used it. Black on dark blue text? Can’t read it. You can’t tell how many bagels you’ve ordered. You lose your order in the middle. Did it take your cream cheese order? Who knows?! It’s infuriating. Call the shop and speak to a human being, they’re extremely nice. Don’t order online!
