I love when a cafe roasts their own coffee. The taste is consistently smoother and fresher. Instead of requesting my usual chai latte, I ordered a Honey Oat latte (recommended by the barista). It was the perfect….mellow, smooth, with slight hint of sweet. The atmosphere is dark and warm perfect for Chicago’s cold winters or a cozy meet up with friends.

A little sunshine on the side! U3 Coffee had it all: A variety of fresh-baked goods and drinks. Try the Asian sausage biscuit and creamy matcha. The matcha was the best that I’ve ever tasted. The shop also offers interesting merchandise for sale, including an incredible cold coffee brewer. The shop and its owners were pleasant, warm, and welcoming while we basked and chatted in the sunshine. I bet it’s spectacular during sunset. It has a rooftop!

Both my mom and I ordered Americanos (my mom ordered a decaf), and both were good. They did have a weird aftertaste – hmm.
In addition to the coffee, there were some stickers that you can take, which I think adds a little touch to the vibe (and the cafe itself).
Parking was a little tedious – $1 per hour and the parking lot is very small. It was raining this day, but I suggest coming early in the morning to snag a spot.

The coffee shop has a really nice vibe to it. I like all the different spaces it has including a rooftop patio. My vanilla cappuccino was freshly made and the staff was nice and friendly. I would definitely visit again

I would give a five star if they had better savory vegetarian options. I’m limited to just a bagel with cream cheese and if you’re vegan then there are even less options. Everything else is either sweet or has ham.
Other than that, they’ve always got me coming back with great prices and great quality.
Would love more savory vegetarian options though!

A fairly new location in the Forest Park area. It has an Urban vibe to the place…black, concrete, wood, mural, and a rooftop area that will be nice in good weather. They have a roaster on premise and from what we tasted, the coffee was pretty good. We tried the Irish cream latte and the Brown sugar… very rich and flavorful. Haven’t tried the food, but from what I could see, people seem to enjoy it. Definitely will come back for some good coffee and a place to sit and enjoy.

Good coffee , good food , friendly staff and an insane atmosphere with resonable prices. I’m surprised this place wasn’t crowded because everything was on point.
The place is perfect for 1st dates or just hanging out doing school work or regular work due to the large menu and rooftop lounge.
I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu and I won’t be surprised if this place becomes so popular it will be crowded everyday because it had a bar vibe but with coffee instead of alcohol.
I highly recommend the Chinese sausage biscuit , it’s really tasty. The other item I had was good too but the Chinese biscuit hit the spot.

I went I went here over a week ago to buy some coffee beans grounded for my house I ended up getting a bag of Trophy Husbad which tastes amazing in my Moka Pot, and even coffee maker. I grabbed an iced banana latte drink added whip cream on top I will be back once my coffee runs out

So excited this spot opened up on Madison street!! The prices are reasonable, the quality of the coffee is fantastic, and service was super friendly. We will definitely be back!
