This place was recommended by Heather at Bernard Pralines, it was definitely worth the trip. We were actually headed to Luna Pizzeria, but was redirected to this place which was a mile closer to our hotel. Rachel, was our server tonight, she was outstanding. The food was phenomenal. We had the large meat pizza and half vegetarian. I would patronize them again and I highly recommend.

I’m not sure why there are any reviews for U Pizza that are less than 5 stars. It’s a charming little spot tucked away on St. Charles, a short streetcar ride from the Quarter. I had a pepperoni pizza and my husband had the street car pizza. Both pizzas were delicious.

Excellent pizza at a really nice family style restaurant. The service was great, and exceeded expectations with the entire meal service (including beverage refills, which most places fail miserably). The crust was thin with a solid yeast flavor. The under carriage was solid as evidence of a great crust structure. The toppings were plentiful, but not overwhelming. And the sauce played the perfect role of bringing everything together. The meatballs with pasta is a must try. Definitely recommend this as a restaurant worth visiting just off the beaten path. The price alone justifies the trip for the quality of food.

The best pizza!! I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. The service was speedy, friendly, and the cost was incredible! The waitress was so fun and danced with me while we listened to the groovy music. Oh, everyone in my party ordered something different. We all walked away feeling like that was our favorite place to eat in all of New Orleans!!

This may have been the best pizza we have ever had. Never expected it to be so incredible but hey were all surprised sometimes. 4got to take pictures and didn’t get the name of our sweet waitress but she did a great job and so did our cooks. We will be back if not this time around the next. Don’t think cuz it looks like a hole in the wall that the food ain’t worth it. That’ll be your loss.

Well, super late on this one, and it’s sad to see the business has changed hands. Also a bit curious and would love to re-visit if I make my way back out there, just to see what changes have been made. I went back in Sept 2022 when it was called Slice Pizzeria, LOL. so, like I said, I’m super late on this one, but better late than never, haha! When I went, the food and service was pretty good. To the new owner, can ya sell me on what you have done to make it worth coming back? lol

I wish I could give more stars! We came for an early dinner and everyone was so friendly. The pizza was amazing, so flavorful! My kids got a burger and chicken strips and loved it. The service was above and beyond. We will absolutely be back, especially since it’s just a short walk away.

When I tell you this was some of the best pizzas I had in years fresh, not too much sauce, and the cheese pull was phenomenal. The manager was so friendly and accommodating everything we had was great. The house salad with homemade ranch was over the top greatness. This was the first time I’ve ever enjoyed sitting at the bar. The beer was cold and fresh. The workers were friendly and fast.
