My husband and I have been wanting to stop in to try their sweets for a while, but in said to say it was a big disappointment. We got 6 different things to try which amounted to $33, and nothing was fresh. My cheesecake(~3″ in diameter) was $7 and the “crumble” was soggy. It tasted like week old store bought cake. The peanut butter mousse cake has a bitter flavor like dark chocolate and the cake portion was dry. I didn’t care for it. The green tea cake was the better of the two with a light flavor, not overly sweet. The lemon bar was the best thing I tried from there and the only thing that tasted like it was made today or yesterday. The cinnamon roll is dried out and I didn’t feel like trying it today. I doubt another day will make a difference. They had about 20 more in the case I’m sure they plan to serve tomorrow since it’s already 640pm. My daughter didn’t try her cake pop. With how mediocre/subpar the desserts were, I’m highly disappointed in the prices they charge and I’m also baffled by the 4.5 star rating. It’s possible we came when they weren’t doing their best, but I find it hard to believe they typically have fresh food. Our family won’t be returning with how many duds we purchased tonight. I am left only with disappointment.

Lots of cakes and cheesecakes that you can buy slices of – the ones that they had are so delicious! They also have Boba teas here, as well as noodles and great friendly service. I got the chocolate ganache mousse cake and some macaroons with my tea…. Will definitely be back to try more things!!

Love this shop. We’ve gotten a cake slice and a boba drink my last couple of birthdays. Today was a rough day at work and a slice of their coconut cake with a milk tea is good for the soul. The server was a sweetheart. It takes them a second because every slice is fresh from the whole cake, buts its so worth the wait.

Really sad because i paid $50 for a cake that was extremely dry and not even fully red velvet. I appreciated that they worked with me to get the cake done sooner but I felt it was rushed so it did not turn out very well. I was better off buying a cake elsewhere. When I asked about it I felt I got some random excuse and I was asked to bring the cake back in for a refund? I was just expecting more for a $50 cake. Such a bummer, most likely won’t return.

What a nice sweets place! The cakes are all baked onsite and fresh and tasty. By the slice, get a mini-cake, or a full cake for your event or party. The service was fast and friendly. This is a quaint place with a great atmosphere. The Dutch apple cheesecake was delicious. Highly recommend.

I usually come get for the desserts which I love. The gluten free ganache cake is the best! All of the desserts I’ve had here have been pretty amazing.
Today I decided to taste their noodles. I ordered the small bowl of their beef noodle soup. The noodles were good, there was a generous portion of beef for the small bowl. The broth needed something extra though and I could not decide what it needed, a touch of salt? Maybe a little spice?
I’ll definitely stick with the desserts from here forward.

Bottom line upfront… this shop seems to be shifting it’s focus from small batch niche bakery to noodles and boba. I did not try any of the savory items, instead deciding to try some of the sweets in the case. Specifically a chocolate mousse ganache and a few macaroons. Both appeared as if they were previously frozen. The ganache was not terrible but did not taste made “in house”, the macaroons were very reminiscent of the variety sold at Sam’s Club and they had achieved a stage somewhere just beyond stale.
Also be aware, the cash register is not connected to their online payment system, and therefore the chances of the cashier making an “error” in transferring the price to the card reader is elevated. So help them out and double check the amount before swiping/tapping your card. My wife caught a $10 discrepancy as we were checking out. Her eagle eye saved the cashier a lot of time and inconvenience processing a refund.

u knead sweets is a very cute spot for desserts and boba!
i ordered the cheese cream oolong tea which was good – i liked the texture of the cheese cream! after stirring the cream into the tea, it becomes a slightly savory, very creamy milk tea. the carrot cake was also pretty good, and a rather big slice for $6.
the savory items on the menu, like the red chili oil noodles and beef noodles, sound good and i will be back to try it 🙂
