Management and quality control is really lacking at this place. They allow their food to be served in broken dishes. My husband literally chewed on stone and when we made the server aware she told her manager and the best they had to offer was $13 off the bill. The manager didn’t even have the decency to come check on us and apologize or anything. The server was awesome and the food is good but as someone who has had multiple management and customer service jobs it was extremely disappointing. They didn’t even seem to care what happened, my husband may have chipped his tooth and if he did then they will for sure be hearing from us again. Definitely will not be back

I’ve been here a few times and everything is always good. Food is always delicious. I was there this past saturday 1/31 and i have to say, David was the best server we’ve had so far. He was very polite, kind, attentive, and made sure we were always taken care of. He even let us know when he was going on his break just in case we needed something. He was the best. Thank you David

This is our first time here at this new U-Grill location. Wait time for lunch was about 30 minutes. Plenty of tables but they are still short on staff and is still looking to hire more personnel. The quality of the meat is above average but better quality than the old location. What makes the difference between here and the old location is the service. We were lucky enough to be seated at one of Kenzie’s tables. Even though she was servicing a lot of tables because they were understaffed, she had everything under control, composed, and always have a smile on her face. Never once made us feel rushed or ignored. So we did not mind waiting longer for our orders to arrive. I give Kenzie 10 STARS for service.

Shoutout to Kennedy! She was fast, attentive, and made our experience so much better than the Rancho location. The grill didn’t take forever to get hot, and our meats came out quick. Highly recommend — 10/10!

Stunning restaurant and food. Lovely decor and food is very good and very well priced. First visit to a Korean BBQ as these aren’t common in the UK, and what an amazing place. ! The meat dishes and all side dishes were simply superb, and loved the kimchi stew and Korean corn amongst many others!

Hostess was rude. Lots of open tables. Quoted one hour wait. Super smoky , they should get a fan going. Also don’t bother using this app to put your name on the waitlist because “they don’t do that” is what the hostess told me she “doesn’t even know why it’s there” . Just go to Gen and wait it out, you’ll be happy and full.

The food was excellent.
The customer service was the worst.
We got there at 7:30 pm they said last call was 8:30 pm we said ok.
The staff was more worried about getting out at 8:30 pm and all on thier phones.
Only came to ask if we needed anything at 8:15 pm.
Suggest going early to enjoy the food.
But customer service needs to be addressed by management to want me to go back.
Not one smile from the staff or waiters.

Faulty grills, warm beers, out of items, wouldn’t honor a deal they posted on Instagram AFTER CONFIRMING THEY WOULD BEFORE WE STARTED ORDERING.
Some of the items were good once we finally got moved after the grill shut off sporadically 3 times and were able to get a good cook on it. The curry pork belly was my favorite.
Save your money, it’s absolutely not worth it. The wait at Gen KBBQ is worth the hassle compared to what you’ll get here.
