The ladies working here were so nice and helpful. I tried the pork hash and the half moon—both were really good and I’d definitely order them again. The baked char siu manapua was amazing, and the à la carte mapo tofu and minute chicken were great, especially the mapo tofu, which I’d absolutely get again. This is a great spot for good Chinese food at an amazing value. Definitely recommend.

Steamed and baked char siu manapua was good. Char siu filling was close to what Libby’s used to be. White rice cake was good, pork hash was good – this was close to what Libby’s used to be too. Roast pork was tender on the inside and had a nice crunchy outside. Gin dui (sesame coated chewy dessert) was also good. Only went 4/5 because the U Choice staff at the counter forgot to include my char siu sou (Chinese roast pork pastry puff). Overall good dim sum. I recommend you try it!

This is a take out only Cantonese eatery located next to Don Quijote market, but there are tables outside in the common area where you can enjoy your meal. The food is not great, but not bad either. I tried the chicken and duck combo. It was fine for a quick lunch. Maybe on my next trip to the area I will try the combo plate where you can choose 1, 2 or 3 items with a choice of white rice, fried rice or noodle.

The convenient location (right next to Don Quijote) save me trips to Chinatown to get char siu and rice cakes. Char siu never disappoints. Rice cakes are so soft and don’t have that sour taste.
They also sell some local favorites like manapua and pork hash which sell pretty quickly. I saw people ordering half a dozen or a dozen each time. Prices are reasonable. Still no dine-in at this time.

You may be at risk. Red Card for a very serious health violation. RAW SEWAGE ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR. Workers walked through it while restaurant is open for business. Management refused to shutdown. Chose profit over your health.

My measure of authentic Chinese food are the hanging ducks or slabs of roasted pork that greet you as you walk in. We love to order the steamed buns with pork in the middle and they also have a baked version of this. Order a couple of those baked buns and a bowl of noodle soup, it’ll be one of the simplest and most satisfying meals you’ll ever have. It’s definitely filling so share with a friend or love one.

Their manapua is AMAZING. I highly recommend the steamed pork manapua. It’s also super affordable, only $3 for one!! The lady that helped us out was super nice and friendly as well. It’s also conveniently located next to Don Quijote!

I live on Maui and whenever i’m on Oahu, manapua is one of the items I take home. I prefer the baked manapua, although I get both steamed and baked. The pork hash is very big with a good amount of pork. Lots of different items to choose from.

Ate fried rice with 1 choice for $9.37 tax included at U Choice In restaurant at the Don Quijote on Kaheka St. It is an easy choice when I am not in the mood for anything much. They give good amount so it is filling and it is very convenient.

WHERE’S THE BEEF??
So I bought this 3-choice combo. And for the beef broccoli, I had to pay 50 cents extra. That’s fair, I supposed, since beef costs more than chicken and pork. But then when I returned home and looked over the portions, I pretty much paid extra for a bunch of broccoli. I mean look at my photo, I had to literally go searching for the beef, which ended up being three tiny slices. The chicken portions were fine, so I don’t understand this lowballing tactic, especially since you already charged me extra. If you’re going to be on the good graces of your customers, at least be fair. Why did you charge me extra, for less? STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.
