A gem of a restaurant that deserves more love! They serve really interesting and modern takes on classic Mexican dishes. Something for everybody and really flavorful without being super spicy. They also have a lot of interesting cocktails and a full bar. Everything tastes really fresh and the staff is so friendly. Highly recommend for pretty much any occasion!!

I can’t believe I’ve never been here and it’s right in my back yard. There’s a great bar selection and the food is excellent. The guacamole is freshly smashed upon order. The tortillas are home made. The brunch menu included fresh toast with cinnamon toast crunch. Breakfast tacos rival those in Austin. Will come back for mezcal Mondays!

Authentic flavor, the ambiance is very good, I was surprised that the Mole sauce was so Authenticly delicious, Hands down the best Mole! I’ve also tried the tacos on a previous visit, the tacos are served with hand made tortillas and they are yummy .

Chicken al pastor tacos tasted like fish. They definitely cooked it on the same surface they cooked the fish on without cleaning. The chicken was chewy and the marinade was lack luster. Please add more flavor to your food.
Also converse and check in with your guest once in a while. Especially when there is not a lot of guest at the bar.
Also Hvac vents were noticeable dirty.

Mexican restaurant with some very tasty fusion cuisine on the menu if you’re looking for real traditional, Mexican dishes, I don’t think this is the place .wonderful outdoor patio with a really nice view of the creek. I was there for a Sunday brunch. The food was very good. Service was excellent.

This is hidden gem in the east bay. It’s a nice and cozy place with a beach restaurant vibe in their patio. Inside you will find different portraits in a Frida Khalo style. The atmosphere is a mix between a local fancy restaurant and an intimate place to dinner.
In this case we ordered Mole and taquitos de res. Mole was good not excellent but good enough to get a 8.5.
The prices are a little bit high but worth it. Definitely one of the best local Mexican restaurants in the zone. Good atmosphere, good vibes, good food and :/ prices.

First time coming to T’zunun. Excellent experiance. Food was amazing, the corn tortillas were off the chart! All of the food was well balanced on flavor, just the right spice, and the service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. All four of our dishes and 2 appetizers came highly recommended and everything was a 10/10.
